First time in coco: What type of coco are you using? Did you wash it before you used it? Did you buffer it once you washed it? You note 200 ppm; is this your water starting point or is this your total feed ppm? Have you been watering with plain water? Let's start there.

For the future, don't pay mind to what the manufacturers say about their coco...you should wash it and re-buffer it yourself. This way you know exactly where you're starting from vs. assuming what the manufacture is telling you is true. Many times things are said in order to make a sale. At this point in your plant's lives, if you're seeing any sort of issue it's most likely pH related. That little seedling isn't pulling enough of anything to be considered deficient. I don't know where 200 ppm lies in terms of your feed program, but in my experience, I start off with a 25% feed solution, from day 1 and then make my future adjustments based on what the plants are telling me. Try to be patient and let them grow a little, keeping in mind pH. Let us know how things go over the next week or so. Oh, and don't let your coco dry out...it should always retain some moisture or you're going to experience issues.

What steps do you take to rebuffer your coco buddy

After rinsing my coco clean...in other words, the run off is clear vs. tanned, I will mix up a 25% feed solution, which includes CaNi and Mg, and thoroughly drench my medium. Now my coco is at the pH I want it at, it's clean and it has the necessary elements to get the plant on its way. Once the excess feed has drained off of it, I simply plant and go. Hope this helps and if you do yours a different way please share; I enjoy differing perspectives and in the process I learn something too.

Your problem is ph. 100%. Quit reading all of this bs people are passing around. 5.8ph is way too low. Take a chance, calibrate your gear, switch to 6.33ph with 1/4 dose feeding (something like flora nova bloom) - full 20%+ runoff. Give it 48 hours & come back. You cannot over water coco.

I run 5.8, same solution as my uc/hpa, with my first and only coco grow currently and it's beautiful.
