What's up everybody? Some quick questions. First time cloning. Pics are attached. received these clones already rooted. About 4 weeks ago I believe they were clipped. Now I've been wondering what it takes to get it to go back into veg. I have had it about a week. And I put my tasty LED on it for a 24/0 cycle. Now after a whole other week has gone by still no growth change any signs of switching into veg. I have been doing more research and I guess the type of cloning this is called is "monster cropping". I looked into it and people say you have to cut all of those buds off of it. And then it will start to re veg. Can someone enlighten me alittle bit on this? So basically what I need to know is if i have to snip those upper buds off?

Yeah snip them off carefully, they are no good to you anyway. It can take a month to re veg a flowering clone. I have only ever cloned from a flowering plant once to keep a strain when I lost my clones due to been a slack bastard. It took a long time for it to start to reveg and you get alien like growth for a while. Personally I dont like to do it that way.

It doesn't matter the most important thing you can do is leave them alone though. When you first transplant a rooter clone to soil it takes a couple days just to acclimate and then about a week to grow a great set of roots. After it lays down some roots into the new soil you will get some growth up top.

Sometimes when we plant a clone into too large of a container the clone gets stuck in root making mode for a long time. Then all of sudden the top explodes in growth and this is a pretty amazing thing to watch. The catch here is that if you put the lamps too close while she is making all these roots she may start to pull nutrients from her good leaves to put into new growth, we don't want that. That basically destroys the older leaves for almost no good reason so if you see the stripes, burnt edges and yellowing leaves pull her back from the light farther.

It is important to be mindful of light distance changes also because it will send hormones through the plant we don't want. We want her to focus her efforts on making roots. So the T5 Fluorescent light is 2 or 3 feet away, we are using little to no Nitrogen when watering, we don't want the planter getting too hot or too cold so a nice even kept temp.

Some strains respond really well to monster cropping and other strains will suddenly hermie where they never did before. When monster cropping we watch out plant like a hawk. (Technically they banana early and not hermie)

Hey guys!! Thanks for the advice. I don't usually have much time to come on here and post. So let me catch you guys up. I clipped the tops buds off and left all the popcorn nugs. And basically instantly I saw new weird deformed leaves coming out of the base.( where all the popcorn nugs were). I will have the pictures of this stage posted.
So now everything has been going well for the past couple weeks I've seen just a crap load of deformed looking leaves which I've heard is completely normal for monster cropping. The past week however I have been seeing some 3 point leaves coming out and growing pretty fast.

Now the issue....... the past couple days I noticed some yellowish tint in the leaves and I figured it might just be adjusting to everything since it's still pretty young and it was only on a couple of leaves. Now I've noticed that it seems to be getting worse. That yellow hue is on almost every leaf. Not that much but i have been seeing more and more as the days go on. Yesterday I gave it some nitrogen booster that I have. Mix 1-4 ml per gallon. Did that and I woke up this morning and it hasn't cured anything yet I noticed some of the smaller leaves the ones that are deformed have even more yellow. I've attached a bunch of different pictures. Hopefully you can see. I need to figure this out before it gets worse.

Background details on grow:
Tasty led 1750t2
24/hr light cycle
3 gallon
No nutes have been giving to it since it's have been cut from the mother plant
Temps usually around 74-78 during the day with around 45-50% humidity and gets as low as 68-70 degrees sometimes when it's night time.
