Hello everyone, I am on my first grow and at 2 months 1 week in and need to clone before I put my girls into flowering. I wanted to buy a tent but while shopping at costco I came across a Cart (48"x18"x72"), and later that day I found myself driving back to Costco and buying the cart with dreams of some vertical vegging.

Now on to the cart, each shelf has/will have at least 4x 4ft 5730s strip lights with a mean well driver (about ~15 watts a strip at the wall), with a possiblity of any number from 1-12 LED strips per shelf for 15-150 watts (hopefully good enough for some serious vegging later).

How many watts of light should I be giving the clones when they start? I realize that this is kind of a bull $hit question because it is not a fixture everyone has experienced, nor do I currently have a PAR meter and all other factors involved.

What height should I have the lights?

I have been thinking about only running the two outside strips at a height of 24"ish inches off the EZ Cloner, with the logic I have read that indirect light is great while they are starting out.

These are the same LEDs as the Spectrum "G" LEDs from SunCloak, this is there start to finish spectrum. Also the EZ Cloner is a 120 site model that fits perfectly on the cart shelf.

Besides the basics:
-Sterile, sterile, sterile
-using CloneX on the freshly cut clones
-use city tap water (no RO), PH to 5.8ish

Other possibilities:
-maybe add some Azos and possibly use CloneX solution too.
-Should I add Humic Acid and Silica?
-Should I soak these for hours in a solution before putting in the cloner (I see some suggest this)?

What else am I missing and would you suggest? I have watched many videos and read a lot about the actual process and think I know the basics about cutting from the bottom of the plant with at least 3 nodes or so, cut at a 45* angle with a sterile razor, etc.

Thanks guys!
