hello everybody this is my first grow and was wondering if you guys can give me some suggestions and or comments. my plants are between 3 1/2" to 8" tall. they are 4 weeks from germ and are currently under 400w mh .started in the areogarden and 4x t12s. now they are in a homemade bubbleponic system with drippers and a bubbler. my closet is 6' x 3' x 8' high(temporary will be moving set up to garage after this grow). ph is @ 6. ppm @ 1300. temp. ranges between 70 to 85. humidity 29 to 40. they are in 6 in net pots and seem to be doing ok but they seem to be a little short compared to other posters plants at the same age. here are some pics.

sorry potroast i'll try to put up 60 next time...j/k.lol guess i'm a little excited about this awesome new hob and went crazy with the new camera. anyway i had a question for you good folks. i'm thinking of taking four clones of each of my plants as soon as they reach the desired height. and then flowering the five original plants and destroying any males and the clones i cut from them. would this be ok? or is there something i should do different. and thanks nighttrain i will definitely post more pics as they grow.

Alien,

Thats exactly what I did. I'm on my first grow as well and about a week and a half ago, I took three clones off each of my four plants that were about a month old at the time. I have since started flowering and found out that one is a male so I will be getting rid of him and his clones.

Judging by the pics, I would wait another week or two though to let the smaller plants grow a little more to the size of your big one or maybe a little bigger. Mine were about 12 inches tall when I cut from them and they have done just fine.

Yeah, he's right, a more mature plant will take to being cut on easier.

And you're right, taking multiple cuttings from each seedling will give you some female plants to continue growing with. And doing it that way will get you some bud sooner.

HTH
