i didnt even check.. i was going to . but sence it .ca and not .com they wanted me to re enter all my info.. i had just gotten off work... had a case of the fuckits lol
i had a buddy who grew it some years back.. he had that purp pheno.. thats what im hopping to find lol i lovee dat purp

see im more of a flavor guy... my yeilds are usually so so. but i dont really flip to much... so most of its personal . just do a bag here and there.. but i know the different specks they have should help with many things during flower which is why i want to try it side by side with the hps
ive also hurd there great for veg
Yes I can vouch for the veg. part with my little 45 watt panel, it was awesome. And yes sorry thats true, it offers a different kind of lighting to the plants that the HIDs might not be so good at zeroing in on, thus vice versus with the HIDs helping out the LEDs.

i wanted to try it. but i dont wanna sing up for the.ca virson yet

anyways i just got back to my living area finailly made it by the hose with my girls... well there looking pretty sorry. my partner didnt really understand the concept of the perlit/vermiculite mix

which is water light

i think whats going could possibally be root rot... im never sure ive never seen it.. or anything like it.. but this is not normal. im not really a newb to growing...but i dont like what im seeing and im possitive this is not normal

my thougt is its ether root rot
or ph lock out.. i just cant put my finger on it

let me know what you guys think

Look like a watering issue to me. Maybe a little stretching but that's personal preference.
can you elaborate a little bit? like i said whe i early i just got home today... what i see. is that my partner did not do everything i ask him to do... maybe i should let them just try pit dry out almost bone dry and give them some food to the roots
like voodoo? i think
or tarantella
somthing to make them a bit happyer... ive never had root rot. and this my 4th run in P/V and i dont get these probablmems also cant see the roots so im not quite sure.. its just hard to see this

Did you ask your partner how often he/she watered them? Root rot is rare this early in my experience- pests and disease take time to surface. But young roots are much more sensitive.

so in the two weeks i was gone he wattered 5-6 time he said..... also he never emptyed out the water tray after he waterd them. so they were just sitting in water with no oxygen or nothing

he also said he was giving them half to full solo cup of water.... the plants are in solo cups.....in the vermiculite. you only need like a 1/4th cup maybe more. cuz it holds retains

like i said i am normally the one taking care of the plants and its for this reason... the P/V mix is like a sponge but is also super airy.... its kinda funny cuz i was just at the grow shop, before i went to the plants home.. asked the guy if he had vermiculite. he went on to say "fuck no, do you know how many people come back and try yelling at us. becuase they got root rot cuz they dont know how to properly use the medium".... the whole time i was at the plant house.. that was just replaying and replaying and replaying in my head...shoulda just had the wife take care of them untill i was back

Ya he over watered them, with too much water and too often. Let them get fairly dry then give them like 250ml of water with a touch of nitrogen.

i just posted this on the problem section but i gotta keep up on up dating this
this will be the documentation of there recovery... or down fall only time will tell

i cant believe how rootbond these things were

so it turns out i was wayyyyyyy off. i feel bad for thinking the guy im working with fucked up now...these mother fuckers are so rootbound its fucking crazy.. there barly over three weeks now. and some got started alittle later. so after many bags of perllite n vermiculite with alittle more perlite. and put them right in five gals.
only eight were able to get put in. the rest are going under low wattage cfls

got my mix in the five gallons, then i poured a bit of water all around the sourronding of the pot some what close to center making a circle.(if you were look at a bulls eye id say colored in the third circle ha) and just a little bit in the crater where i placed my the plant with a a half strength feed (which i kinda burryed up clydons.. or how ever the fuck you spell it) wattering it like this to try and encourage the roots to go out
before i dropped this big ol root cluster . i kinda genitally squeezing the cluster enough to kinda knock the roots that were trying to grow out loose a bit. not hard enough to damage any roots... twas a gential caress

so a before and after pic... in the pic that showing the roots... that was like the one that wasnt too bound . out of the 9 id say two that made it were super like pretty freakin bound 3 were in the medium zone and 4 were not super bad (still not to good) the roots were pretty freaking white also i must add so damn... i bet theyll bounce back from the bound shit. but i hope there not fucked... with how starved they are!

looks like a little heat stress too.how hot is it in there? lots of issues to address but there is still a window of work time.

the heats only 76F i think it could resemble that because of how bound they were. and how fuckin starved they were

i think why it looks like that is cuz i was watering at like over 62nd of the recommended dose
i did a super light water in the new medium. with half strength..
i talked to the guy thats at the house.. he said they already are looking a bit more happy no big signs of shocks..
also the leaves have started to stand up again..
im excited to see how they turn out(seeing as ive nevvvvverrrr had major problems like this before)
i think they will bounce back fairly well.
this my not be my best crop yet. due to all the stress
from starving and being bound like a sonabitch
but i think it may be half way decent
i stayed at the house for about two to three hours yesterday after the transplant
and they deffinitly seemed to like the new inviorment

ive got my room dialed in pretty damn tight. so heat and humidity aint a major issue... i just never had any probablems in my root zone so this threw me off pretty bad.
