First run of TGA, Ace of Spades

Just cut my new keeper of Ace of Spades, it has by far been the most impressive strain I have grown from 4 Attitude orders so far. I grew out 5 getting 2 duds and 3 females, and also grew out 2 males, a Cheesequake and 3D. The other 2 aos are not quite as resinous, one leaning toward jtr and one being a fairly even hybrid but still much better than most I have grown. This one photoed below has been my favorite since about week 3, it has a very pungent Baja Blast like smell, a noticeably denser bud structures as well as more resin. Everything was ran from seed, t5 and then a 400 watt hps, flowered at 12" in 1 gallon smart pots using Advanced Sensi AB for veg and bloom as well as Big Swell from Soul Synthetics, Gravity and Sweet then flushed for 2 weeks. Topped out at a little over 2 ft tall and cut right at 8 weeks of flower(next round going 8.5-9 for more amber), yields were right around 20 grams on 1 and 3 with #2 looking to be a bit heavier with the denser structure. I am now looking forward to growing out a few of the seeds I got from the Cheesequake and 3D pollen i tossed on the aces, I have a few seeds from each pheno so far.

Trim: Very easy, not a huge producer of sugar since there is a great bud to leaf raito but what you do get is encrusted.
Smell: Baja Blast from taco bell is the best description we can come up with
Look: Great bag appeal, tons of swelling, covered in trics, magenta and pink buds, little to no leaf after a good trim
High/Taste(only samples as of a week ago): Very smooth and clean, the baja blast comes through at first with a bit of sandalwood on the exhale. Very good onset, hits me quite hard and fast, one bowl and I was feeling good for around 2 hours before i considered another. Heavy head stone with a good body stone that creeps in over time. I did not feel to tired smoking a bowl after work, still fully functional but after a few bowls i started to get overly baked. Sorry the photos are not great quality, they were taken on a smartphone so not great quality but its the best I have for now, will update with dry photos and a full smoke report once they are ready.

Looks awesome! AoS is my next grow...really looking forward to it. Can you tell us more about the phenos? Growth pattern, smell/taste (don't have Taco Bell around here...), variation? Did you get a berry flavored pheno (what was the high like from that one)?

I'll give you the basic rundown on the phenos I had. They were very similar in height all throughout the grow, very sturdy and support flowers without issue. The smoke has been quality off all 3, #2 packing bit more of a punch from the samples so far.

#1 Most side branching, lots of side nodes even without topping, closest node spacing, largest main cola of the 3, has a mix of the berry and sandalwood smell(a bit heavier on the sandalwood) least dense of the 3, tiny bits of purple throughout

#2 Keeper, not as large colas as the other two but noticably denser and more swelled caylaxs as well as a bit more resin, little side branching, has a unique smell baja blast is still the best discription i can come up with(berryish with a uplifting crisp soda/lemon lime twang to it, tiny bits of sandalwood on the exhale), Magenta and pink accents on most buds, by far the easiest strain to trim so far.

#3 2nd in side branching, good node spacing however not as close as the #1, good size cola being a bit more dense than #1 but not quite as large, strong sandalwoody smell with a bit of citrus/babypoo with it

Once #2 is starting to cure I will post a in depth smoke report for her and maybe even the other phenos. Excuse any typos, I have been typing this at work in my down time.

my 3 aos were like this

JTR dom, very berry lemonade smelling

BCS Dom- Like cherry Lifesavers

hybrid- More lemony/berry candy smell. very dense.

none were real keepers. i plan to grow more AOS in the future, just not anytime soon.

How was the potency, and what kind of high did they give?

very different on the jtr pheno, it was stupifying. the berry pheno gave me a body buzz and happy euphoric sativa effects but became a stone when smoking to much. the hybrid was my favorite, it was heady, happy and strong with no ceiling

here is the vid i made, i was looking for keepers but i did not find one. i have high standards, but they smoked good. all of them. the ace og spades are on the right and one in the middle, the 2 girls with the calyxes on the leaves are AOS. both were a bit mutant, the middle girl got huge, strong root mass, alot of vigor. i think 2 void and 1 third dimension female were on the left too, the little girl in the front left pouch was a barney's farm freebie waste of space. almost no trich development.

Hey dude, it's been a while, huh? I grew out my Ace of Spades and got 4/5 males...the one female is a keeper though...I'm almost certain it's the same pheno you kept...lemonade with a berry twist, and frosty as hell! Bits of purple here and there, dense nugs, huge, clustered calyxes. I also had a stretchy sativa male I pollinated some plants with. Today I started a Vortex x AoS seed...that's gotta be dank!

If you are not trying this already, Germinate your seeds at a lower temp around 68-70 for better female ratio.

I got a 5 pack, 3 females. These examples are exactly how I'd describe my experience.
the strongest was the 50/50 hybrid.
