Sorry for the lack of updates... I've been moving and the plants got a little jostled in my attempt to hide them lol... but they've bounced back and are looking good!

Day 19 WWxBB

IMG_0753.jpgIMG_0755.jpg

So thick and bushy! Still can't believe how fast she's growing...

Day 15 Five-O

IMG_0751.jpgIMG_0752.jpg

This one had a really rough time with the moving... when I found her, she was partially uprooted and a little buried under some soil... but I fixed her up and she seems quite happy.

The two of them together:

Does anyone else just sit there and stare at their plants in amazement and awe? lol

About an hour after I posted the above pics.... a freakin 60w CFL fell on the Five-O!!!! I have no idea how long the light was sitting on it, but the new growth is damaged and the top leaves are brown. FML!!

Lol... I kinda have to laugh a little when I look at the pics taken just a few hours before this poor plant looked like this:

But on a brighter note:

IMG_0757.jpgIMG_0759.jpgIMG_0760.jpg

Started doing some training on her... seems to be going pretty well. Also, I cut off some massive fan leaves (you can see what's left of them in the 2nd pic) because I thought it was ridiculous that the stems were as thick as the main colas... lol not sure if I should have or not, but whatever.

What is your ratio of blue and red spectrum lighting?

Also, how do I subscribe?
I just added 3 55w red spectrum bulbs to the 2 60w and 1 35w blue spectrum lights that I had. So a total of 7 lights, half and half. I'm just gonna use all the bulbs I have for flowering lol. And to subscribe there's a little blue bar towards the top above the thread title - click thread tools and then subscribe to this thread. :bigjoint:

Another girlie grower!

I'm on my first grow so I can't offer advice but I am also growing in a small cabinet (not as small as yours though! 30" x 30" x 40") and I read that if you use a smaller pot it helps keep the plant small (don't want to run out of space for stealth). I'm only using 1 gallon containers and my plants are already pretty big for my growbox (maybe 15-20" tall each and we're only in week 1 of flower). I think it's a little late for this grow but figured this would be super helpful for ya.

I grew my first plant in a 1 gallon and later (way later.. actually 2 weeks into flower) transplanted into a 2 gallon and was still able to keep her at a very manageable size (actually wish she was bigger lol). I don't plan on vegging for too much longer and I know the Five-O is probably going to stretch the most... WWBB not sure about but I'm not too concerned cause she's a big fat horizontal bush for now lol. :D Glad to see another girlie grower too!

Here are some pics of the lovely ladies tonight:

IMG_0764.jpgIMG_0765.jpg

I added more soil to each pot up to the plants cotyledons... Five-O is about an inch or 2 high and WWBB is only about 4-5 inches - no stretching on these ladies!

I topped/FIMed the WWBB on 3 nodes about 2 days ago and FIMed the Five-O... there's some new growth but not enough to take pictures of. I'm verrry slowly upping thier nute intake and neither have shown any issues thus far *knocks on wood* :p

They look good! Sorry to hear about that light falling on one of your babies. I should have my first indoor setup running soon and things like that terrify me.

Thanks! :) Yeah, TBH I flipped shit when I opened up that cabinet door and saw a huge CFL sitting on my little baby.. definitely NOT cool! Lol.. but it was my fault... For my original set up, I had 2 outdoor porch light fixtures (like these: http://www.amazon.com/Lithonia-OFTH-300PR-120-M12/dp/B001QGIUDG/ref=sr_1_22?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1375336854&sr=1-22&) with some twin bulb adapters but it just took up wayyyyy too much space. So I went with the power strip fixture method and didn't secure my huge heavy cfl's very well and one of the plug in adapters came out and fell... but she's recovering nicely, just a little stunted.

The ladies are almost a month old now and still looking good. I tried to FIM every node that I cut rather than top - first time I tried this on my other plant I got 4 main colas. :)

Soo... as far as I can tell, looks like I did pretty well! On the Five-O I *think* I see 3 colas forming:

IMG_0753.jpg

And on the WWBB, I think I got 4 on one node (3rd pic), 3 on one node (1st pic), and 2 on one node (2nd pic)... yay!!
