Hey @ttystikk, quick question. My plants in veg are now hitting 1.23cm after 5.5 weeks veg. I feel like these are just going to go mental in flower, my ceiling is 2m, so I'm not quite at 2/3 as you recommend.

Do you think I should flower asap or give them another week?

I think ill def need to rig trellis across the front opening

Everyone's setup is different so I hesitate to give too much advice. Mine won't fill in at 2/3 but yours might.

Yeah I get what you mean and i wouldn't hold you to it haha. I've got no experience with this strain.

If I was to move into into flower this weekend, then it would mean cutting down my flowering plants just under a week early, which I don't like to do, but the yield on them is already pretty crap since I ran smaller pots, I'm quite disappointed. I'm just wondering for the greater good, would I be better to get these big bitches In and try to avoid not running out of space. Decisions, decisions.

Let your babies get bigger, then you can clean them up once they're in the space.

The stretch wasn't bad, maybe double the height after the switch. I used to pinch them once most of the time. Personally, I'm done with the strain. I thinks it's weaker than it used to be and probably not worth another grow......

Cheers will do. Guess another week shouldn't be too bad. I've just never let plants get this big before flipping, mainly because I've never had plants grow this fast before in 5 weeks haha.

So long as I pull off this in flower, I'm predicting this could be one of my biggest runs I've done, just going off the size of plants that will be going into flower.

Maybe I should do a bit of topping of other branches to help slow it down a little, then it will have a week to recover and then off to flower

Once the branch is a big as it needs to be to fill the trellis space, top it. Then all the little side branches will fill in and those fuckers are where the yield comes from.

Do you find the main stalk doesn't stretch as much? I'm just thinking if it doubles ill need to train it diagonally as well?

The stalks themselves don't stretch much at all.
Cheers. That makes me feel more comfortable. I didn't think they did on my other ones I did vert, just the branches seemed to go out and up. :)

Looking forward to see the difference between soil and my setup.

Do you think I would be better off just taking that screen off the wall and creating a circular screen and just make it as big as possible to keep the plants on the inside?

My only issue is then, how do you get in to train? Or go you just cut holes in it around the place so you can get your hands in to work?

I can move the tent so I can access three sides.

What you think, ditch the 4 walls and go circular?

You ask a lot of questions. I'll be coming to visit and my payment will be taken in couch surfing lol

IME, circular screens choked the plants a bit, so keep them flat. 4 or 6 seem to be best.

I got fencing with 4" squares so we could reach thru and work on the plants. Still, you'll want to get inside regularly for training, spraying, etc. So, you'll still need to plan for some kind of entryway.

The main stalk won't stretch and once the side branches get long enough to top them, they won't either.

5 days max and I'm going to start flowering.

Did a bit of topping and supercroping to keep them down a bit.

I also noticed one leaf that was close to the light with this. I think what's happened is that its getting so humid some water has pooled on it and its gotten burned under the lamp. There's a fair bit of condensation happening. It's the only leaf displaying it, so will keep an eye on it.

Def going to need to run the dehumidifier in flower :)

2/3 days away before I flip.

I feel I'm close @ttystikk, this going to go crazy in flower :). I feel my biggest indoor yield isn't far away lol. What's your thoughts on canna boost. Was thinking of running trying it on these bitches. Never used it before, but have only heard good things, or you think it's just hype?

That looks pretty darn flip ready to me now.

IIRC, Canna Boost is a P K booster. I just use MKP, same thing. Or find a flower booster at your garden store. Canna is stupid steep, as are most of the nutrient lines found in a hydro store.

Hey Dirty! Good to hear from ya. I nearly brought the boost, but ended up with some other local stuff I've been pit onto. Time will tell.

If you want to use boost over here, you basically need to buy it in over eBay, as the shops here jack the prices up 40%.

Hope the little one is doing ok!! I guess he wouldn't be so little now :)
