so about a week after i switched the lighting to 12 12 sex has started showing... and on the 2 im sure of both are male...

on the upside. the 2 that are male are my lanky, weaker lookin plants. i feel like 98% positive that they are male. i picked at least 5 little balls of one. and a few off the other.

and to kick after finding the 2 males, i decide i may as well start a few more plants. then i remember cleaning the other week and taking my seeds from the bottle cap i had em in to a baggy for storage. but now i cant remember where i put them.

well, all in all things could be worse. if my baby turns male im going to be SOOO pissed. oh and one more thing. about the males. i was going to try to clone them just to see how i do and get experience. they need a couple more days though before they have any growth big enough to clone. is it safe to leave them in there with my other plant??? she hasnt started makin buds or even shown any definite signs of sex. but i dont wanna polinate her. all the sacs or off the males for now.

i have made a good attempt at cloning. took 2 of the lowest branches from my plant. they were kinda small but im hoping it will be ok, the stems look fine but the leaves are small from not getting a ton of light, but i see lots of folks trim leaves to make them smaller. snipped em off, into water, trimmed first nodes, into rooting powder, into rockwool, into fiffy greenhouse, under 26 watt cfl. hope this works posting some pics

Keep us updated on the clones, I have a plant really close to that size and Im flowering, going to find sex and possibly clone if female.

still no sex on my plant, but i feel fairly sure its a fem. the growth on it looks like the stretched plant i had that was fem. watered her today with about 1.75 liters of abou 6.5 ph water with a slightly weak jacks classic bloom booster, 10 30 20, last 2 waterings was with bat guanno tea. next one will be molases. tryin to make her happy . here are some pics of the root structure of my deaders, i salvaged alot of the soil since it wasnt used but maybe 2 weeks at most. having trouble with pics... they arent very important anyway.

sex is still technically uncertain, but it looks so female to me. anyone else think so?? no pistols yet but no pollen sacs either. id get close ups but my camera is crap. hers some pics of my setup and my new reflector i just made. my plant is thriving my clones have nothing new to report really. they are there they are slightly wilty which i expected im gonna open the thing for fresh air and spray em down here shortly. started LST today as well.

oh and FUCK I MISSED. theres a pic of the small atrophied growth from my fim, i almost got it right but that one got cut a bit close and now its all low.the fifth and sixth pics are of the leaf in question note how its hiding what could be a decent cola under it. they are 0510082015 and 0510082015a

im really fealing the need to prun some leaves. like fan leaves. putting some pics of one of the biggest in question up. could use some oppinons

ps those are geese i saw the other day while salvaging the soil from males, and gettin root ball pics that i lost. it was almost a beutiful shot i nearly caught the new moon in it but i was chasing em across the sky and suprised i got them at all.

it is a female!!! saw the first pistils when the lights came on today, was lookin all over it then on what will be a lower bud site, there it was, 2 little white hairs. only 2 on it so far unless i missed em.

as well as the big one i stil have the 2 clones that are surely fems too
as long as they take.

on top of my baby being a girl. i came in from work today and whamo, i got my package from dr. chronic. and this time unlike with nirvana i actually GOT MY SEEDS. 10 hindu kush for me next grow. cant wait to finish this one now.

as for my plant she is rolling. there are preflowers/pistols on every top/bud location. not many yet but they are there. gonna post some a couple pics.

clones seem to be fine still. will post pics when they root or die

temps and humidity are. 47% when i checked max 65% low 31. 68 f. max 78 min 64. this is start of day 12 flowering. about 6 weeks from seed id say.

I would be shocked to find out that tin foil could create a hotspot hot enough to burn a plant using CFLs. With HPS and MH sure , but not CFLs! This is the CFL forum! lol

just droppin in to update. my girl is still lookin good. i wanted to get some close up of the new buds starting but my camera is crap close up.

my clones after 8 days are still there, one is lookin kinda bad. it had some rooting powder on one of the leaves and that leaves got kinda cooked. not sure if its rooted anyway it looks worse than than the other. how long does it take to see roots or know if they have rooted? you can see the difference in the 2.

My girl is gettin sexier day by day. she seems to like the nute regiment. alternating bat guanno, bloom nutes, pure water, molases. next one im mixing half and half bat guanno and molases. then stopping with the bat poo cuz its mostly nitrogen, i need some of that other poo. heres some pics of her. and one of my clones died. the other is still kickin but isnt looking the best. i shoulda scraped the stem more when i started em but oh well, i learned plus i really dont wanna waste the time on them since i got some good seeds.

what do yous guys think of my girl shes about 19 days flowerin here?

yeah, they died. i dunno where i fudged up but i did. i think i coulda scraped em a little more or maybe it was too cool in there but it didnt work. i think temps couldnt have went far below 70, up to maybe 75 most.

does anyone have any advice for my next cloning attempt, heres a pic or 2 of the dead clone, not the roots started but never went very far...

I took a small 2 ft pallet to use for LST, put nails all around it. got my plant trained absolutely perfectly, pics below. went to put the pallet/plant back into its spot under my lights and the plant tipped over... ripped a nice tear into the the top node, pics below... i did what i could to mend it, again pics below.

how bad is this. is what would probably be my best cola fucked???

My girl is tough and seems fine despite the tear. it has shown signs of stress, red strips on stems and such, but the buds are still growing nice. its been flowering about 27 days, here are a few pics. im thinking another 3 weeks and it will be about time to think about chopping. so in week or 2 ill be planting my hindu kush seeds.

this plant seems to be hermi, im not sure why but sure as hell its gettin a lot of seeds and its the only plant around so... anyway its still looking good. im gonna grow it out and then clean my room up, start a new crop and go. i figure i have 2 mabye 3 weeks left. how's it looking.

any ideas as to why it went hermi? i heard light leaks earlier, could the tear have sent it hermi, or something elese the bag the seed came from was nearly seed less and i hear feminized seeds go hermi easy.

Fem seeds can go hermi, I see your growing from bagseeds...so am I, the thing with bagseeds is if it only has a few seeds in the sack it may seem like a good bunch, but the reason the sack doesn't have many seeds is because it could have been a hermie that was pollenated in which case youll turn only males and hermies outta the seeds. If the sack had a lot of seeds, ie more than just a few scattered in there (and depending on how much you buy) it was probably just a girl that got pollenated in which case you just got lucky with a hermie, and it could have been light leaks on its dark phase. I've read a lot of places if you remove the nuts with tweezers every chance you get you'll still end up with some bomb sensi (seedless) just a little more work. Good luck dude can't wait to see the harvest, makes me more excited about my bagseed grow, also you were using 24-8-16 ferts I saw, how well did those work for you?..Im using the same mixture and doing LST. Lucky with those bomb seeds, in the god damn police state I live in they try to get you for distribution if you have more than one BAG on you, forget if its filled with buds, two empty bags with a lil residue they would try to pin distrib. on you. sad sad days we live in, when human beings are actively trying to lock their fellow man away, and for something as harmless as smoking! So getting seeds offline makes me a little nervous to say the least. Keep those pics commin man!!!

I like assrabbi's idea of picking off the balls one by one. If you had multiple plants I'd say you should just dump it but since it's your only one (at least that's how I understand it) you ought to have plenty of time to remove those sacks!
