First post! Need advise with what to do with space. 2 hps 600

New place can't fit a tent here but have a spare box room just under 9 x 9. Been growing around 2 years always done in a 8 x 4 tent 8 plants soil 2 600 hps and average aroud 1kg which is 2 poundish i think I'm from UK . Would I have to put the alliminum foil on the walls? How many plants do you think and what pots. again will be 2 600 hps growing in soil from seed. Iv always grown same strain is it a lot more difficult having multiple at same time? Thanks for help

Morning. How come the tent wont fit? Too tall? 1 kg is 2.2lb. You can grow a lot If they're kept small. I'd say easy 16 . I'm currently growing 2 diff strains, one is an auto dwarf and the other is an indica dom hybrid. Aluminum foil will help with reflecting light, but its reflectivity is around 60-80% I think. Mylar has higher reflectivity.

The room is basically double your tent space you could just calculate your plant count by doubling up like blindeye said 16 easily but you would want to double ur light as well and airflow enviro stuff in ur room will be a bit different, i would stick with the same media/grow method if you already yeild a pound per light on the 600's thats good... the walls paint white though, white reflects light in every direction evenly and mylar or aluminum foil (silver) reflects light directionally creating "hot" spots, the white will spread your light much better and if you dont want to paint get panda film... good luck

If you do go with an open room just hang some panda film like a curtain and stick to the same footprint your used to.

Either paint the walls white if its your place or if its rented panda film the walls.

4-16 plants per 4x4 area. 4 x 7gal pots - 16 x 11 ltr pots

Metal halide in veg would create more stacking and higher yield.
