Hey all,
After much deliberating on the multitude of green related forums, Rollitup has become my new home for advice on all things herb related.
So, I'm a long term stoner n a once-upon-a-time grower. My first grow was in a stealthy converted chest of drawers. Was quite a decent size bout 4ft high, 4ft wide and 2ft deep. I was running a 150w HPS over a SCRoG in a soil medium. The grow was better than I ever coulda wished for, I used the Mr Nice 'Shit' seeds, and managed to get a girl from my first batch, then took a cutting from her mid veg and grew that alongside her. By the time I was up, I had a carpet of buds... No idea what the yield was, but at the time I couldn't give it away I had so much of it.
Anyways.. Time's have changed... I've since done one more grow in that box, a few years back, it was from some bag seeds, it didn't look that great, and by the time I cropped I wasn't giving it much love tbh. Cut them all down and decided to leave them in the box to cure, with the fans on to vent the smell out.... Only forgot to disconnect the lights... Checked a couple days later and had completely toasted everything... I remember me n my sis going thru the ashes attempting to pull out any survivors... That wasn't a good day.
Not done a grow in that box since.. Now living with the gf, who's not so keen about having a grow in the flat, tho cool with me smoking in the flat. So seeing as times are hard, and weed is continually hard to come by... I've decided to go the way of a PC Microgrow... So hence turning up here.
I'm about to shoot off to the relevant forum now, and get my first post underway, and hope that someone can aid me through the impossible task of getting a handful of free weed for next to nothing, on a semi-regular basis.
Okay, well, that's the intro over. I hope I've picked the right forum to lay my head. Go easy on us tho, haven't had a spliff in two weeks now and I've had to endure an endless list of shit movies that weed woulda made somewhat bearable.
