I've still pretty new to the whole grow your own game, and because the time changed I'm thinking since I have a good idea what I'm doing inside, why not go outdoor for the summer? well, that and i'd love to have a harvest to last me a bit.. i've got some bagseed, three right now on 12/12 next to my other two. I attempted topping one and will probably do the same to the others after I see the turn-out so I can practice my technique. now, on to where I need help. there are a few places i've had in mind near lakes, rivers and streams. the sites are in the great fl, and we get lots of hurricane activity every year(no, katrina wasn't the only one.) i'd like to know how high from the water table I should plant. I don't want flooding. they will go straight into the ground and the only soil they'll have is what's in their cups. i've read a lot of guides but most are from canadians or mountain people. any locals around that know how to deal with the humidity and fluctuating temps? give me a shout. I plan to veg a mother after my cab's empty to continuously distrubute clones throughout summer. how many, I don't know, but tips and ways to avoid being found out are appreciated. my uncles walked out to their 'last site' in the 80s and found a telephone wire flag from the local sheriffs dept stuck where each of they're fully grown crop was. don't need that happening. hope to start as soon as temps rise, time changed so it shouldn't be long before the ground's warm.
