ok so i have no clue how old this plant is.. maybe a few weeks old. any ways i grew her to like 6 inches tall in my drawers under a 13w soft white CFL then put her in the ground with miracle grow. i think she looks good cause i wasn't expecting her to look this nice. she has a real nice stalk and stretched fairly nice. some leaves are iffy but fuck it. i wish i knew how old she was. i think she's nearing a month.. anyways here she is.

they look real nice. Very healthy...looks as if they're about 6-7 weeks old to me. Keep it up and good luck!

i have one that is growing outside in a pot on my porch and she is 24 inches tall and 12 inches wide, she is about 3 months old, what do I do to make her flower, don't want her getting too much taller. she has white hairs all over her and some of my leaves have at least 7 fingers. I just repotted her for the fourth time, she was root bound, when I replanted her i put root stimulator in the pot , she has never gone into shock. so whats my next step???? this is my first plant ever any help would be deeply appreciated

Herb doesnt' need a container over 5 gallons. Hopefully this is your last transplant since weed doesnt like its root structure being disturbed much. So the less times transplanted, the better off you'll be. Glad to hear that they didnt show any signs of stress. You're lucky. Depending on your geography (climate) and strain of herb the plant will naturally know when to start flowering. Usually, when the natural light starts getting less (days becoming shorter) after Summer Solstice (June 22nd). It generally takes about 1-2 weeks for the marijuana plant to register the light difference change. The shorter days are an idicator for weed to start flowering and reproduce. You're plant potentially has another 2 1/2-3 weeks of vegetative growth. So, you may see a larger increase in size...Better hide your plant! Remember, not all plants grow at the same rate of speed/height even if its the same strain, so things vary.
Hope this helps, and good luck! Send pics.:bigjoint:

hope all goes well with your grow...you should check out my post, i have my 4 week old girls on there...Northern Lights and Swiss Cheese!

can I start putting the plant in my closet so its not getting the light so maybe it will start to flower or should i wait another 2 weeks of growth. I have some pics on my rollitup page if you can look at them I am new to this and don't know how to show them here. they didn't have computers when I was growing up lol....when i transplant my plant i don't mess with the roots at all and now its in about a 5 gallon bucket. i also put some root stimulator in with the dirt, manure and some starting soil blend.

also, remeber that outdoor plants are lazier than indoor plants, meaning they are going to grow slower. I grow indoors when the outdoors won't allow me to. But mother nature shares all the goods for free! And the plants will generally grow bigger meaning larger yields!

If your friend knows what type of weed it was that you were smoking. Otherwise, you'd need to have a Phd in botany to be able to identify which strain it is.

so your saying i should just leave it alone and let it do this on its own????i have been reading alot and most people either grow them under the lights or both. i know its some type of crymp i think thats how you spell it. and when it does start flowering does it just do that at the top or all around where all the white hairs are. some of the hairs are turning red.

If you force flower your plants now, after growing outside, I really couldn't tell you for sure how the outcome would be. If you were to do this, put them under 12 hrs light 12 hours no light. You see this called 12/12.
This represents the change in natural light (shorter days).
But if I were to guess, since your plants are still immature at this point from growing outdoors, you'll expect stunted growth and small yield.bongsmilie

The real gem beauty of a bud is the main stem or "cola" and you have satellite bud sites all around. Depending on your strain you can approximately determine how much of a yield you can expect.
Patience is key to growing good weed.
I wish there was a strain that just grew in a few hours! LoL.
But with patience, proper care and keep on educating yourself, the juice is worth the squeeze!:bigjoint:
