First outdoor grow problems!!

I tried my luck growing outdoors this year for the first time. i started my plants earlierr this spring under cfls and put them outside more and more everyday leading up to the transplant. i just checked on them today and to my surprise there is almost no difference in growth since i put them out except one of them stretched out really bad. does anybody have any advice to help the new guy out. i kno im pretty much screwed this year but hopefully i can try it again this year. btw i live around the Indiana/Michigan line we had like a 2 week drought but now we are geting rain. any advice would be greatly appreciated

you will get transplant shock plus the light difference and what not....it is pretty late in the season but observe them and take notes for next season....i recom next year starting earlier. good luck!!!
