hey all, first time outdoor grower, used to grow indoor but its too hectic, lol, pics are coming soon, my blueberry is approx 3 months old, and just ovr 2 Feet tall, i havent used any nutes/fertilizer until today, i gave her a dose of Blood And Bone, and i have just transplanted my red diesel fem seedling into a larger pot, with Hortico Organic Based Soil, mixed with about 25% - 30% perlite.

and i am thinking of taking a few clones from the blueberry, ill post pics, then let me know what you guys think

looking good man, ive heard plants with 3leaflets arent as potent as there 5-7leaflet counterparts. but who knows, i cloned one of my diesels and the clone decided it would only grow 3 as well..so far its no diferent, maybe even a week or two ahead of the others

sweet, that's alright i suppose, im guessing it should be pretty potent still, it is blueberry afterall lol, ill be taking clones off the blueberry plant tomorrow, using clonex and jiffy-7's, and an organic based soil, will post pics to show process

I've had 3 leaflet plants before due to them being in flowering a few weeks then revegging. My Blue Cheese that revegged looked almost exactly like that plant

all pics taken with a higher mega pixel camera this time around, and as you can see, i have a little bug issue i think, by the look of a couple of my leaves, and she is getting very bushy down south, lol, is it a good idea for me to take cuttings for clones pretty soon? there are some good potential clones in there, and im thinking itll benefit my big bushy blueberry if i get rid of some of its undergrowth

so i just got back from Bunnings, local hardware/garden store, and bought a propagation tray, not electric though, just the see-through lid, and green bottom, with seed pots inside, and some fresh razor blades, for when i take cuttings tomorrow, and got another bag of perlite, just incase, and i was looking at organic plant food/ferts, and saw CharlieCarp, and ive heard great things, but i was just wondering, with the one application of Blood & Bone ive given the blueberry, what should i do? get some charliecarp and stop using blood and bone? and also, how often should i apply Blood & Bone, and same thing with CharlieCarp, if i was to get some, how often would i apply it?
also, i topped one of the thick side branches, just to see how it goes, and it all is well in a week or so, ill probably top some more thick side branches.

and with the blueberry, in the green pot, is the pot size okay? what size plant you think is achievable?

thanks for your help, and just so everyone knows, ill be updating this thread til the end, harvest and all, so keep following this thread, keep it alive :)

didnt take cuttings today, will attempt tomorrow, i read that its better to take cuttings earlier in the morning, so ill plan to be awake a little earlier tomorrow,

and as for ferts, im pretty sure that charlie carp is better for veg, right? so its probly better for me to continue using blood and bone while vegging, since its got high N, but my question now is, whats the best 100% organic flowering fertilizer? im thinking about something like a mix of high Phosphorus bat guano, and worm castings, but will that be good?

took my cuttings, three nice ones, but i just realised, i had them in the prop tray, but in pretty much direct sunlight for a few hours, few leaves look dried up and brown, ive just moved the prop tray into a shaded area outside. will the brown leaves, or leaving the clones in direct sunlight, cause anything bad?

not too much light, but needs some to get the roots growing, i use flouresent lights if you got'emand very humid. or roots will not grow./

cool, they obviously look like crap right now lol, but ive got them in a mostly shaded area, and misted them three times today, and everytime ive gone to look at em, its been very humid, should be alright, ill keep it up to date with pics and shizz

clones are looking sad right now, misted em a few times already today coz its hot as hell out there today, but theyre all brown and looking like death, but the stems are still bright green, so im hoping for the best, i read that blueberry is notoriously hard to clone, we'll see, lol. its not the end of the world if they die off though, coz ill be topping my red diesel, and taking some more clones off her, and she should be easier to clone with any luck :) and the blueberry plant aint missing those little cuttings, its growing so fast and vigorously, wondering if i should be pruning blueberry? get more light in to middle area of plant? or i was thinking of tying some branches down so some more light reaches the other potential bud sites, what do ya'll think?

anyone interested ? lol new plan now, going to buy some charliecarp, and use on both plants, even thought blueberry is like nearly halfway thru its life, ill still give her vegging ferts til she shows signs of budding, and my red diesel is at about 3.5 weeks old now, when should i start feeding?

plant is now reaching one metre tall, and im using a CharlieCarp Natural Fish Fertiliser (10mls - a litre of water)
gave her half a bottle two days ago, will give the other half in a few days, she shows no real signs of overfeeding or anything, but there are like two or three leaf tips that are a little bit yellow, possibly because its been over 30 degrees c for the last week here in Aus, so yeah, just keepin it all updated, would love any help/advice from more exp'd growers, or possibly even some Aussies??

yo just realised something awesome, i can buy foxfarm big bloom over the internet, thru ebay, cant get ocean forest though, coz im in aus, they only ship liquid ferts, not soil bags, which sucks, but its so cool, never thoought id be able to use foxfarm ferts, considered it an "american thing" lol
