Hey ive been browsing the site lately, its amazing and everyone is really friendly / helpful so i decided to join up. What can i lose right?

So for my first grow I got 3 Skunk plants and 2 White Widow. All these were from a friend, so the strains im not positive on since all i can go off of is trust.

Right now the plants have all been germinated and were planted in organic pete moss with perlite. They are about 2 inches tall and looking good.

I was thinking of going straight from dixie cups to 3 gallon buckets with rich topsoil mixed with pete moss, bit of fertilizer, and sand for a nice healthy soil with plenty of oxygen pockets.

Then from the 3 gallon buckets i would go to 5 gallon buckets and bury those in the ground for easy transportation.

I am growing in Western Idaho so temps in the summer can get to be 100 Degrees F. Is this too warm? Anyways, ill get pics posted sometime, and i was wondering about how many oz i can expect per plant assuming they are properly taken care of.

Thanks a million and keep on tokin!

yes it can hurt them to plant in a bigger container. it can lead to root rot. its better to progressively get bigger pots. but you could probably pull it off although i advise gradually increasing pot size from starter tray to a dixie cup to a half gallon to a gallon to 3 gall then to 5 or bigger

Ok, ill give the diff size containers a try, also, do u think 5-10 days of scorching temp would stunt them too much? Assuming I water them and sing to them they should be fine right?

Thanks once again and happy tokin!
