First Harvest are these ready?

Ive got 1 bagseed plant, at 10 weeks flowering, and two white widow autoflowers, at 11 weeks old. I don't have a lope, but through a magnifying glass it appears the triches on all the plants are a light milky color.

These were unfortunately all my first grow. And done under weak lighting hence the budsize, and spacing :(1426959547770591351405.jpg1426959597906-1139947707.jpg 1426959638248-702730795.jpg 14269597047691914299662.jpg 1426959741828-1731070485.jpg

Also, I had another widow, that took a turn for the worse @ week 10. So i harvested it, dried for 4 days, then enjoyed. It smells and taste impeccable, and the high was a very cloudy head high had me giggly and my eyes closed. Actually very potent.

I cured a small portion of the big plant as well, and the high wasn't as nice as the widows. However it gave off a STRONG diesel smell, and tastes pretty decent.

you want to go to where you can see a sprinkling (some) of yellow heads (amber).

i go for 'fields of gold', personally.

you should really get yourself a loupe or scope..i think you can even get an app if i'm not mistaken.

final answer is: when in doubt, always go another week:wink:

I think the most important point is what effect YOU want out of the final product.

In the short and long of it, the longer you leave it, THC degrades and CBD becomes present.

So if you wanna get high, go all milky up to 15%- amber. THC
Wanna get couch locked then go for 50%+ amber. CBD

As a general guide that should help you make up your mind

I tried playing where's waldo, don't see the nanners.

That plant looks like it still has more time to go, at least a week if not more. Hairs should turn color before the trics and you have a ton of white hairs left.

second and fourth pictures. the first quarter of that cola and on the fourth picture, the second set of nugs and maybe on the third set too. they could be just the way the light is hitting it, but that's what i'm seeing is the start of nanners.

I see them in the 4th pic now. At least 4 of them, all 3 nugs in that pic. Still don't see it in 2nd pic though. Just about to open. OP should cut them off and still wait a bit.

OP what wattage are you giving them? they aren't ready, but they don't look bad for your first grow!

yes, that picture is more clear on them and i agree--OP should cut them off and wait a bit longer.

That's nonsense. Indica strains have more cbd then sativas ..If you grow an indica you can't turn it into a sativa by prematurely harvesting.

Not true. THC and CBD are distinct cannabinoids. What you are thinking of is CBN. THCA degrades into CBNA when exposed to air, which degrades into CBN when exposed to heat and/or UV (note how CBD ins't any part of that equation). CBN is relatively non-psychoactive (Compared to THC, it could safely be called non-psychoactive), but it does make you sleepy. However, while it does make you sleepy, for the most part it otherwise doesn't share any of CBD's medicinal benefits, so it is important to understand the difference.

I was always taught that the longer you leave the trichs to amber up, the heavier the stone, the more milky, the more high??

Man lookin real nice there. Hard to believe it's your first chop. Good work! Looks like you have a sativa dominant hybrid there. She could use some more time. With sativas i wait till I think they're done then I wait a little longer.
