First harvest.....A bit off...

Well I just harvested my first batch... maybe a bit too soon, smells a bit like grass, so yea. Also its not very dense, it's light and airy. but I got like 5 ounces, not sure, dried it for 5 days and now I'm curing but here are some pics.

yes looks pretty fluffy and immature. cfls? and maybe lack of nutes....with a stronger light and better feeding schedual you could see more density. keep at it!
 
hmmm maybe the strain. if your doing dro its pretty controlled. you got any pics of the setup before harvest?
 
I have the next batch going in right now, I think it's because I topped it to damn much, it got to big for the setup, not enough light and was too damn busy, worse case sernerio, if it still stink like shit in a month after curing, I'mm just cook it up or hash it.
 
Plenty of light for tight nugs,How far did tou keep it from the budsites? Also shoulndt take a month for it too cure enough to know.
 
Looks like the buds I got off my first harvest. I didn't get as much though.

Can't say that's a bad thing cause I couldn't stand to smoke it anyways, lol.
 
Maybe they didn't dry enough in the 5 days? My first harvest was the same, although I only got just under an O. Good job though, 14 weeks total? After looking at the pics it may needed to go a bit longer. Still you have enough for some medibles for sure!
 
i agree with monkeybones, it looks like it was harvested early, good looking buds for week 6 or so, they do a lot of swelling and tightening up in the last few weeks, if you miss those your bud will always be light and airy with small trics. GL with your next. my first grow gave me nice tight buds but had 0 potency, was like smoking trim or something, but it was bag seed under cfl in bad soil.
 
well the smoke is harsh, but this is Bi-Frost so it kicks like a mule lol, yea I meant it had been flowing for 14 weeks, I do a direct 10" clone to flowering.

i see, i have never flowered straight from clone with no veg before so idk much about timing in that situation.

i could be wrong man, i was speaking based on instinct

maybe if you tell us a bit more about your setup, or show us pictures, we can help you find the hiccup

at any rate i wish you best luck growing nice dense buds in your future grows

if you have a 400w HPS you have the tools to get there
