First GrowJournal Jock Horror Autoflower PC Case Grow PICS +REP TO ANYONE THAT POSTS.

The Setup:
Growroom:Self Made Desktop Computer Grow Case
Lights: Dual Spectrum CFL's. TWO 6700k ONE 2700k For Veg.Switched for flower.
Fans: One 120mm 80CFM Intake Fan. One 140mm 75 CFM Exhaust. One MEGA 120MM 135CFM EXHAUST!! So in total, 3 fans 2 exhaust 1 intake.
Soil/Medium: Fox Farms Ocean Forest. 70% FFOF 30% Perlite.
Temperature:85-90 Ranges.
Strain: Jock Horror Feminized Autoflower from Nirvana.

I live down in the HOTTEST area in california and on a average it gets to 117-125 down here!
This is what makes this whole grow super tough! The AC sucks it doesnt work below 85 and it cant be on all the time. ANY TIPS is GREATLY appreciated.
GROW JOURNAL:
8/18/2010 9:00PM: Seed is set in between 3 sheets of Bounty Kitchen towels then sprayed till moist with crystal clear 7.0 PH water to germinate.
Then placed in Zip Lock bag where i blew in some air and zipped it up.
Now Set in between 2 Plates in a warm area [85F]. Look at pics below to see.
We'll check back in 12 HRS and ill update if anything new happens.

Looking good what type of nutes do you plan on using?

this is gonna be fun to watch cant wait for those seeds to pop

subd i love that strain.

I plan on using Schultz Plant Food 10-15-10 or Fox Farms Big Bloom/Grow big because i wont need any nutes till colas come in because autflowers need less nutes and the FFOF has enough till that stage

Great strain. Open the bag dude, your roots need to breathe, otherwise they might rot. You can soak the seeds in water for an hour or so if they don't crack open right away. Good luck with your grow man. Welcome to RIU.

Welcome to RIU. Nice strain. Open the bag dude. The roots need to breathe oxygen, not stale co2 you breathed out. The plant breathes co2, not the roots. Good luck with your grow. Do you plan on LST?

Yeah i'm LSTing with wires and strapping it down. and Really? I read a few posts like this one http://www.gardenscure.com/2009/01/04/sticky_bud-6-step-paper-towel-germination-method/ that said blow in air,would opening the bag be better?

I've been using schutz combined with unsulphured molasses for flowering. Take a look at my results so far if you are curious.

& I'm not sure who told you autos need less nutes, they are trying to flower right away, so they need more N & P. I would suggest using your flowering nutes after the 1st 2-3 weeks.

Sounds like they are blowing hot air to me. I have a 90%+ germination rate with the bag open.

Alright thanks I'll open it up then!Also I forgot to mention in the post I added 1/10th of a drop maybe less of superthrive . Funny story too at one point the water was dripping and I had to drink some no trash can around. Me Being fucking stoned forgetting the superthrive in there it tasted like ass. xD

Well it's been about 5hrs since they were put in paper towels so yeah i dont think i should check and expose it to light. whaddya think?

Much like Rombomb will say, those seeds should pop, and sprout a sow able root within 3 days. In my own experience, i've found that in conjunction with dirty hands, and handling the baby germlings by the root, apparently caused all my seeds to "goo" up, and made them useless. Had to restart. So in conclusion, WASH YOUR HANDS before fuckin with your crops, and apparently don't touch the root of the germling, just it's 'head'.

Other than that, good luck etremist2k!

Since they are autos, you can run both the 2700k and the 6500k spectrum at the same time with them and not hurt them at all. My CFL grows I used 10 6500k and 5 2700k from seed to harvest. Are you doing a 24/0 or a 20/4 schedule with them? I've tried both and actually the 20/4 turned out better for me doing low ryder and white widow.

On a side note: You and BK1995 (aka PK16) type the exact same and have the exact same grammar w/ punctuation usage. If you are the same, why three accounts? And what happened to the last BK grow? Or are you just friends with 'em? lol
