First Grow

Prop em up so their not sitting in runoff unless they drink it up real quick, looking nice
They take about a gallon of water each time I water them and if there is anything in the trays I empty them after the pots drain. I usually dump the excess on the floor for added humidity, it is very dry here. I have a moisture meter I use to check to make sure they are dry before watering again.

Fertilized today with Alaska Morbloom, 0-10-10 full strength. Will see how they react before next watering. Guess it's a good thing I am not getting recommendations as to what I need to do differently, lol.

Bloom nutes are best for much later in flower

In early flower they are still growing and stretching and benefit from all purpose or vegetative nutes

Thanks, I was wondering about that. I'll go back to what I was feeding them before. How mature do the buds need to be before switching?

You should be topping/fiming and lsting at the beginning of veg and throughout. Not in flower stage. Flowering you could do weaving for a scrog for the first few weeks. A good defoliation helps in flower but your plants are so stretched I don't think it matters. Next round put the lights closer to your girls at beginning of veg and they'll bush up nice. Good luck with the harvest. My baby just 1 week into flower. Single plant20181010_222432.jpg 20181010_222420.jpg 20181010_222356.jpg 20181010_222347.jpg

I stopped topping and FIMing before I switched over the lights for flowering. The lights were within 8" of the plants, and the lights I have are all I can afford. I added more lights throughout the grow when they were initially stretching. I have plenty of room for them to stretch if they want in my room. I have pulled a few sun leaves off however I don't want to overdo it.

I looked up this strain on the nursery's site I purchased it from and it is common for it to grow to 7 feet outdoor and 4 feet indoor so the girls are doing what comes naturally to them.

Week 13, 4 weeks in flower. I believe I have some nute burn, the Ph, temp and humidity are all nominal. I may have to lower the mixture of the bloom ferts. I plan on just using water for a bit unless anyone has a suggestion as to what it is up.

Week 14, 5 weeks in flower. They have become Diva's, especially the first one. They are acting like either nute burn or potassium shortage or some other unknown malady. #1 has lost a lot of sun leaves. The buds are starting to show trichomes at least. I figure about a month left to go. Hopefully I can figure out what is going on.

Added some CalMag and backed down on the veg nutes last watering after using plain water for a few, the problems seem to have stopped.

Week 16, 7 weeks in flower. Water pH 6.8, temps 66-74, humidity 24-36. I haven't really changed the nutes I am feeding them yet they seem unhappy. These are Chemdawg 4 if that makes a difference. I have yet to figure out what is up. #1 is still dropping leaves, the rest look hungry, I don't get it. I have looked at examples of under and over nute use and I can't pin it down.
