Here's one of my ladies I have going now. Strain is Juicy Fruit x Blueberry Hashplant. View attachment 3955036 View attachment 3955037 she's just now started to pack on some weight :bigjoint:
To be honest I thought they were the same thing. That's why I thought it was Cal/mag. I only saw them together nothing with just straight calcium or magnesium. Thought they came together haha. My bad. I'll remember to say magnesium deficiency instead of Cal Mag

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe picked a little early?
Still very nice.
could have been a tiny bit early.. she had amber trichomes though.. and It was taking fucking forever!

I finally cut her down on day 100 ... 100 days seed to harvest when most my autos take no more than 85 days max

If you want a very easy nutrient system to use i highly recommend fox farm 6 part series.

youd buy fox farm trio (grow big,big bloom, tiger bloom) then you also buy the 3 powder nutes fox farm makes (open sesame, beastie blooms, cha ching) those 6 nutrients will help you lots of bud sites that fattern up and smell and taste great. just be careful and start with 1/4 strength its stupid hot. also with the powders I never ever use more than 1/4 tsp. per gallon.

@BlueRidgeGrower ... wanted to show you how I LST all my autos.. when shes about 20 or so days old... like right before she shows sex.. I'll take her 3 biggest branches and tie them or tape them down to 3 sides of the pot.. I'll leave like that till flowering stretch stops then let her grow however she wants.. it will most of the time give u 5-8 good size tops and the lower growth gets more light due to being "opened up" ... IT simply gets you denser nugs and ,more of them.

this was purple cheese at day 20 when I LST'd her.. here's how I do it

I like the way you do it better. I saw some diagram where they make it grow in a circle but I don't know how well that's really gonna happen

You can do the whole circle thing but with LST you have to be careful.. if plant grows in wrong shape wait till your buds gain weight.. youll walk in room one day and see branches flopping down to the floor.. then u have to figure out a way to keep the from flopping around everywhere by tying branches together etc.

I probably got it all fucked up already then. I pulled the top over gradually over 2 days and have been tying down the bigger things as they come up. No real rhyme or reason, just tying down whatever branches I need to so that I can get light to where I want. I'm trying to lead everything in a swirl but in the end they go where I want. Oh and I've been tucking leafs like an addict.

20170607_214825.jpg She seems to be doing well to me. She takes LST like a champ. I broke one of her branches a couple days ago tying her down. She didn't even flinch. She didn't even stop growth on the branch. It's put on a new node since it broke. She just doesn't give a fuck. Honestly this is such a learning experience. I've noticed I'm not hovering over her anymore. I just leave her. She's good. Letting her grow up since I tied her down last. Sorry if I'm rambling, I'm baked like beans. 20170607_214816.jpg 20170607_214840.jpg

Also when you LST them how long do you leave the lines on?
theres varying opinions on that.

I wait till flower stretch stops then i take off the ties... be aware when buds fatten up you'll prob have to support them with string/stakes etc.

lst delivers auxins to other branches and that is a plant hormone that will make the underneath branches shoot up when it flower stretches... she is gonna stretch any time now.. just you wait.. youll walk in one day and be like "damn"

Yeah, you've got to consider your environment when you decide how to train your plants. I've got some outside that I've gotta either LST to get bushy, or trim like a MF to get a few main colas. These are fairly large sativa doms in 10 gal cloth pots. (custom organic soil)
Hmm...
