First grow

This is my very first time growing anything. So I started out with one, ended up with 3. 2 soil and 1 5g dwc. For my first time its went great, the plants look awesome. But I'm no expert so I wanted to get your opinions. The small 1on the right had some magnesium problems early on but I got that worked out. Other than that and the light falling on the dwc early in veg, they look great. I think?. I would like to get feed back from you guys. The seeds came from some sweet purp. The tall 1 on the left is 6 weeks, the others are a month old. I just started 12/12 a few days ago. Any advice you guys have for a noob would be great.

They are looking great man keep up the good work. What kind of light are you using for flower? And remember to have enough room cuz they will double in size while flowering

I'm using a 250w mh, and a 150w hps. I know it not perfect but I does get the full spectrum. I guess?.

I never used a double spectrum method but I know hps works a lot better for fattening up your buds

what are your temps looks like a lil heat stress

You are definitely going to want those temps lower for flowering man.

Guess not, anyway I just added a 65w CFL to get some light under the canopy. Should I trim some of the lower branches?

And for trimming, need some pics with a straight on shot. But from some of the pics you have and what I can tell, some trimming is in order.

For my plants, I cut off the bottom branches to allow more airflow under the plant, they seem to like that. Also I trim off some of the nodes on the branches, ones closest to the stem.

Your grow looks really good, keep up whatever you are doing.

Cool thanks a lot, I figured it was a female but just wanted a more definite answer being I have more than one, and didn't want to risk them all. So it looks like their all females , I plan on trimming the lower branches on the ones in soil, but as for my dwc, it has big branches at the base that turn into really nice cola's, should I just trim the fan leaves and smaller cola's from them? I would get some more pics but their sleeping till morning

So i did some trimming this morning. i didnt know how much to trim, so I just took the bottom fan leave off so it could get some light and air under the canopy. Do i need to take more off or is this good? Also i dont have any ferts for soil, can i use my hydro nutes dilluted down?

When it comes to trimming is based on experience, so if you think you've done enough then you are good. On my first grow I didn't pull off enough nodes along the branch, the good that came from that was I got a lot of popcorn buds that I use to make hash. As for what bad came from it, donno because the plant still produced really good bud.

Just remember in nature without any human interference these plants will grow and produce.

an interesting strain from paradise seeds, the lower the temp the more purple they should go
