That's what your going with? Shit ill try any soil, whatever gets me the best yields. So next time I water ill feed as well with that. My big plant seems to have a lot less yellow going on. Is that due to a better root system?

Yes sir full strength what do you think about the super soil recipe???
I like the supersoil recipe. I grow my plants in something similar. I like not having to constantly fertilize. If I wanted to deal with ppm's and a million different nutrients I'd do a hydro grow. I'm growing in soil, I want it to be simple.

That supersoil recipe on here is a big batch. I've got a version of it scaled down to 1 bag written down around here somewhere. Let me know if you don't feel like doing the math and I'll find it and post it on here.

Are you going to do a hydro grow with it? If your growing in soil just throw it in a pot filled with soil.

OK, here is subcools's supersoil recipe with the amounts scaled down. His original recipe calls for 8 bags of soil. I have reduced the amounts down to only use one bag.

1 bag good quality soil (fox farm ocean forest, happy frog or roots organic)
3.25-6.25 pounds organic worm castings
10 ounces (by weight) blood meal 12-0-0
10 ounces (by weight) bat guano 0-5-0
10 ounces (by weight) fish bone meal 3-16-0
1 3/4 tablespoons epson salt
2 tablespoons dolomite lime
1 tablespoon azomite
3/4 teaspoon powdered humic acid

That is subcool's recipe exactly, just a smaller batch. One of those batches will fit into a medium sized rubbermaid tote for storage. Make sure to read the "2010 revised supersoil recipe" thread in the subcool's old school organics forum. (I would have posted a link to it, but I'm not sure how) that will explain how to use that stuff. A lot of people really like that soil for simple organic grows.

I would love to create that for my next grow. Any nursery has those things? When u said Rubbermaid tote, that's where you store your leftover soil? How long does it last in there? I'm just growing in my sunshine mix 4. So once I see tap root throw it in my medium?

it lasts forever........keep top moist, and it is a living ecosystem. it improves with age. it mellows. acids balance out. most fill bottom 1/4 of pot. i just make my SS part of my overall recipe. peat, perlite, SS. 2:1:1

any nursury should have those things. home depot has most of them.
yup, when you see a root, put it in your pot.

thats right^^^
now this less amount are you useing 5 or 7 gallon pots and is it lasting the hole grow?
please read subcools threads on how to use this stuff.
how do u use hydro with the super soil???
you cant. supersoil is organic soil. coolerbear was talking about rockwool cubes. rockwool cubes are for hyrdo.
