First grow

i think its fun too, i spend alot more time starting at the plants and grow area and planning out as many steps into the future as possible in my head to maximise my space and lighting than the actual tying em down/adjusting ties part though.
Yeah, aside from the blisters I enjoyed constructing and adding parts and thinking up perfect schemes for lighting as well! :) I don't want to be a "commercial grower," who doesn't really care about there plants.

Oh definitely, I love spending time with her that's for sure. She's showing some yellowing on a bottom leaf and very small tips of some leaves. Leads me to believe I am having pH problems since I've been putting off going and getting a test kit. She will be needing water tonight or tomorrow morning so I'll be going to pick up my ph tester, and a camera sometime this afternoon. Not gonna water again until I am sure of my ph. Pics coming then!

Well, just watered with pH'ed water last night at 7.0. Here are some pictures from my new 100$ digital camera. Can anyone please give me advice on the yellowing and small growth? Hope the pics are better.

(It doesn't look all neon to the naked eye, couldn't get a decent picture without the flash on.)

Thanks for the props man, today will make her 22 days from seed I believe. I'm starting to worry about the yellowing...the new leaves look very stringy/mutated (can't really tell in the pic) and aren't growing as nicely as the older growth.

Or do I have nothing to worry about?

I always check my thread right after someone replies lol - @foolet hey man thanks for checking up. I thought the same, went and bought some plain ole local brand nutes that had plenty of N and all the other goodies (calcium, phosphorous, etc) she'll need I'll feed her tomorrow depending on the soil, hopefully i'll see sex soon o.0. I lack confidence due to my inexperience I guess.

Pic update, I fed her last night with full strength nutes, looks like she's picking back up a bit. Feedback =D

Are you growing bag seeds?
Nope that there is 1 plant of 5 beans I bought, still have the other 4 this was just a first grow/test/learn patience and confience-grow lol. She is an Autoflowering Short Rider on 24/0...I looked up a couple other journals and saw the same yellowing and leaves on other plants but mine isn't near as bad. Also my plant was significantly bigger and better looking than theirs for being 3.5 weeks xD (not downing anyone's old grow journal if you happen to read this :P). Next grow I'm going to grow the other 4 in the same container before next season, then I'll be in the bidness.

Yeah man I messed with regs a couple times last year but never got more than a week into it. I'd definitely recommend ordering some seeds. Gives the grow a whole new meaning.

After reading several threads and one that linked to a post from Nirvana, it quoted saying that giving the plant 24/0 light through it's life is actually bad. Should I switch to 18/6? Will this actually benefit me, or shock the plant? Will I really lose yield/potency if I leave it on 24/0 for the rest of the grow? If so I'm going to get my timer tomorrow, just need some pointers.
