So here they are 5 unknown genitics freebies from my friend, limited space, limited finaces, and I am a newb =] they are a few days old so wot do you guys and girls think?

holy... holy crap... what DO I think? !! umm...
A few days germed, planted, exploded?
Gonna give them names? I suggest giving them female names for luck!
I'd say get some nice CFL and cheapo plug things and run 24/0 woo! Water and dont use nutes for the first 2 weeks or so.
Let them have a wet and dry cycle, not overwatering and blah blah blah you got it.

It isn't really what you have that is important. is how you grow them. The more you put in the more they put out! I have one have no idea what kind it is but it is awesome to see it finally finish!

Yup and they look great!
Remember to take it in stride, don't over do anything they will tell you when they are thirsty.

thank you its a max of five days old btw =] and any specific cfls?

I have ones from walmart you gotta look at the "actual wattage" mine are mostly 42 or 50something. I have 6 bulbs for 4 plants.
With the CFLs you can keep them within inches of your plant so it wont stretch for the light as much as yours are.

they look a little stretched i would move the light a tad closer. but they look great!

I second this. If you're using CFL's or FLoros you can put them REALLY close. Like 1-3" close.

yeah get as close as you can get without burning them.

Really? stretched? I have them almost less than 2 inches from my florescent grow light.

I think they are fine they look healthy and would not try to fuck them at this time but you will know of course! What do you think they are saying to you. I would wait a little before putting them too close. they are young and will react fast to a good burning...do what you feel is best! just my advise.

yeah dude do what you think is best. if your lights are already close enough so be it

update: this is the day 7ish

and got some organic soil and added perlite for drainage

btw. they fell over slightly so thats why the leaves are facing odd angles

I think they fell over because they were stressed and weak use a tooth pick with a bread tie and guide those babies straight. and as for cfls use 6500k (daytime) for veg and 2700k (soft white) for flower. good luck and hope they turn out ok.
