First grow with cfl, dwc

this is my first grow ever
tell me what you think
these plants are about a month old
been on 12/12 for about 2 weeks



this is how i started.
kind of on a whim really
i just wanted to know if i could keep them alive longer than a week


they out grew the area
one was a male
and the other was just annoying really
i had two ladies blooming up, so i kept them

this is an average dvd case
to establish scale

i did that today
i am going to have to do something about this lighting
i was thinking of buying an outdoor hps security light
if i use them all i think it will work out all right

I have a 20 Galon Rubbermade
2 air sticks
and a Jetstream 3500

but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, my water has 0 nutes in it and I am growing with CFL to can you help me?

PS - I know that I have enough air in the water

well my test plants haven't growen longer roots and the plant leafs keep on dieing on me and I can't figure that out, its my very first DWC so I'm not relying on it to grow yet
