Hi all i'm new to the forums stumbled on to this while trying to discover why my plants didn't look as beautiful as the one's i have seen in many books. so to let you get an idea of whats been going on here's the details to date.

they were started from seeds
they are as of this post 23 days old atleast 5 of them, 1 is about 10 days behind

i am using a 400watt metal halide no special brand

for ventilation i have a can fan high velocity 400 cfm and for the hood and light. a unnamed 8 inch fan keeping it cool

i will include pictures soon getting a new camera in the next few days

i have some old pictures of them from not to long ago. i will upload after i check them. The most recent pic, which is prob about a week old, is the one on the bottom left with dirt under her no wood chips and the one next to it is the youngest plant currenty in the closet. This is all seeds i got from green i have smoked i have had to buy i didn't know how to get my hands on high end seeds safely and am just tired of paying for somthing i can grow myself

i been going by the soil looks kinda dry water routine still abit confused on watering their in a mix of soil some were put into 3 gal bag pots with jungle grow and others with that rain forest frog soil.
just started feeding using 1 1/2 tsp per gallon of pure blend pro grow they were started in peat pellets and then just droped into the soil bags and put into the closet. From what i have gathered from books and the internet it looks like i have 2 sativas and 4 indicas i have the growers bible by jorge cerv. and have been trying to soak up as much knowledge as poss any help would be great bongsmilie

These are the most recent pictures of the plants. They were taken only a few minuets ago. The leaves are drooping on two of them. I cannot figure out what is wrong with them. The temp. is 77 and can get as low as 68 when the lights are off. I was misting them with water for a while and have stopped. The humidity stays between 51- 32. I was wondering if someone could tell me how my plants look and maybe what i am doing wrong.
The stupid site is not letting me post pics. says i am missing a security token. Will post new ones again as soon as it lets me.

How are you trying to upload them?

I go to my albums and create a new album then it say's upload pics...then you copy the bb code under the picture and copy the code in your post and you get big pic's

easy see

i went to go advanced and it would notlet me add attatchments and i tried to upload them to my profile and i keep getting an error. Do you want me to upload them first then copy the code? this is my first time on a forum. I am new to this stuff

Yeah go to my rollitup. in the top right of the screen and on the left side it say pictures and albums... then you'll see it's like my space kinda... then click on browse if some reason you might need to add .IMG after your picture on your computer (my old cell phone I had to add IMG...IDK?)

I am using pure blend pro grow. i think i fed them to soon at just under 3 weeks. so i think their recovering from to much fert, only fed them twice between a watering of 1 1/2 tsp over a gallon jug shared between the plants. wasn't even like i drowned them or anything. so i don't know but yeah from what i have seen mine seem to be larger then others at longer growing times this is my second try at growing. first got botched this time i spent the money got better equipment. They were planted by me, seeds into the ground as of Feb 19th 2009 around 1am also i am seeing alot of gnat looking flies they are attracted to my monitor light. been killing them are they a threat to the plants i think they maybe coming from the soil as i haven't noticed them before. odd being that the soil was bought if you want any other details refer to my first post

Their color looks good and overall health looks great although they look a little stunted to me. While in this stage, the new leaves should mature quite a bit bigger than the previous leafsets. This is what I do in 3 weeks of veg.

A few questions and comments:

1. What is the NPK value of your plant food? What was the innate nutritional value of your potting soil?

2. What kind of hood is that MH in and how far from the plants is it positioned?

Try to get at least a 15F swing between day to night temps. Best temps is days - 85F, nights 65F.

Masterofgenetics, what draws you to a conclusion that he has a Mg deficiency?

Stylus, don't start adding stuff to your soil that the plants don't need. Only proceed with corrective action if indeed a problem has been confirmed whether it be insect or disease pressures, nutritional issues, etc.

Good luck,
UB

thanks for some replys been lonely trying to figure this out the neuts i was using but stoped as of the folige being burnt and brittle on the one i am useing pure blend pro grow with a 3-2-4 with a hint of mag already in it at 0.5 and 1.0% calcium they seem to be coming back slowly growing has resumed i fear one has stunted but looks to be turning male so will be ripping it out once i know for sure the light was at 18 inchs from the plants now i raised to make them stretch alittle due to the fact the indicas were just to dense that new folige wasen't getting light i am useing this model http://www.wormsway.com/detail.asp?sku=SSSC190 to house the MH thanks again i was so upset its my first time useing neuts and i was told this would be good i used this soil i got from a grow store called rainforest frog or somethin put some of them in that and then bought jungle grow from lowes to see the diffrence kinda experimenting with bag weed seeds is their a post telling us how to go about getting high end seeds with out getting busted thanks again will be adding more pics soon

soil value of the jungle growth is 0.16 n 0.06 phosphate and 0.08 potash happy tree frog stuff was destroyed as i do not keep evidence and the need to determine a feeding schedual it says on the back of the bottle seedlings 1 1/2 tsp per gallon mid sized veg plants 1 tbs mature 2 tbs and so on since they had the shock of this neut burn when should i start feeding again and due to their age how much neuts should i give them stick with the chart or give them less for new peeps please read first page to get a better idea of whats going on X)
