The Evolution.....So FAR!

Well its been about a month and some odd days that we started our first grow. Thanks to a lot of reading on here and a lot of help from members i've been able to have what i think is a great evolution of our babies.

I know its a little late but i figured that some people think its cool seeing other peoples set ups. So i'll break everything down.

We built a 9x6x7.5 room.
In this room we set a 4x8 tray, built a custom made manifold with quarter inch hoses attached to basket drippers. The manifold is connected to a pump that is sitting in a 45 gallon reservoir. In the reservoir i have two airstones chillin' to help with oxygenating the water.
The reservior

For lighting, i'm using a 600watt sun system. 1000watt sun system. 400watt cool tube.(upgrading to a 600watt sun system soon.)

All three lights are air cooled by removing an ac vent and ducting it directly to the lights. The ducting at the other end is connected to a 6inch high out put fan blown through a wall and outside.

I have 21 female plants.
The strains are OG Kush/Strawberry Cough/GDP/HSK/Bruce Lee/LA Confidential

For Veg i use Botanicare calmag pro and grow pro.
For Flowering i'm using Botanicare Bloom Pro

PH Balanced between 6.0-6.3

This is how they started as little baby clones.

as you can tell some of these were 60%+ dead.

as they get better

Access required beyond this point. (haha im high)

COME CLOSER...

A little CLOSER...

This is the bruce lee that we started from seed and in soil

Some more of the plants

Anybody know what this white stain is on the leaf? it seems to happen to only a couple of them.

For the smell i'm using a Carbon Filter connected to a 6inch high output fan

And the closet for vegging.

Flipped them to 12/12 on 8/20...

I'm going to start on a dosage of Molasses tomorrow morning so start helping with the flavaaaa....

anyways please tell me what you guys think.. any input is useful.

Very nice!

In a few pics I noticed blue/green light bulbs. Are those for working during the dark cycle?

thanks man! i've put a lot of work into this so i hope everything comes out NICE. lol

i have green bulbs in there right now just so that i can work in there if i need too when the lights are off.

But i've definitely heard of people using a different spectrum and color of bulb to help during the off cycle. I want to look more into that after this harvest.

Thats what i've been trying to figure out. Its definitely has the symptoms and i just checked the humidity in the room at is above 60%... is there an easier way to drop it besides purchasing a dehumidifier?

you can get some sm-90 if before week 4. That powdery mildew looks bad. I try to foliar
with garllic, clove and neem every week into early flower usually keeps the dew down.

i went in there right now and opened up the visqueen to help circulate the airflow better while the lights are off.. found a dehumidifier on craigslist, i'm gonna pick it up tomorrow.

Can i get that sm-90 at any local hydro store?

i went to the hydo store and they didn't have any sm-90 but they suggested that i use Serenade Garden Disease Control. They suggested that i try to spray each individual leaf so i did. I also picked up a dehumidifier and have managed to drop the humidity from 70% to 50%... Whats should the ideal humidity be during flowering?

50% is best humidity for flowering

oh and nice looking grow!

also i'm not sure if molasses is for flavor, I just know that you can use it upto the last day if you feel like it without
your buds tasting like chemicals + it fattens up buds!

well the buds are sure starting to beef up!.. i removed some of the leaves that were completely covered in the mildew...the humidity now never goes over 55% nor lower then 45%...

I'm hoping this serenade garden disease control stuff works.

After spraying them down...third week of flowering and with 5-6 weeks left how do you guys think the smoke will be?

projected yeild?

Hard to say actually...depends on how well you do from now tilil then...MANY problems can arrise very quickly. Just be patient and check them often, and you should be good to go.

Molassas is used as a carbo load...and also contains some very vital food for the plant. The buds beef up because of the carbs. It is also used for flavouring and is best used in a complete organic grow.

Don't use that sm-90 past week 4 or 5 and I always spray down my harvest before drying anyway just to get any crap off her.
