First Grow - Swazi

Greetings.

I'm busy growing a plant of what is supposed to be Swazi, from seeds that I picked out of my stash here in South Africa. It was a bit hard to germinate them at first, but after about a week and a half they started cracking and getting roots. I left them for a while longer and picked a seed that already had a long root, planted it and now I have a plant that is growing every day in a glass of unsterilized soil under a desk lamp.

I have only basic tools for this grow, all household items, i cant get any soil, fertilizer, lamps or any desirable instruments. I intend to do the whole grow indoors unless there is a problem with space and then it will be grown on a balcony outdoors during the day and indoors during the night. The plant has been watered with regular tap water once a day.

So I've used seeds that have been picked out of a decent quality Swazi stash, planted in a drinking glass full of unsterilized garden soil which I tried to filter a bit and tried to clean and its been sitting under a 60W 210V Desk lamp for 24/0 light since sprouting.

As my first grow (and due to space restrictions) - I'm only growing one plant for now. I'm going to hope for the best that its female, if its male I'll grow and smoke it anyway.

My questions so far are,

Will I need to transplant the plant from the drinking glass as it grows?

If i keep the plant in the drinking glass, will it be able to survive?
Should Swazi only be grown outdoors and why?

Will I still be able to get a decent quality amount from an indoor Swazi plant?

How long before I can sex the plant?

Will my 60W Desk Lamp be enough for the entire grow, will I need a special light for flowering or can I put it outside for flowering during the day?

Will a plant like this grow faster indoors or outdoors, considering that its on a 24/0 light cycle now where as it would not be 24 hours naturally and based on the strain?

Will Swazi stink up the house before or during flowering?

Is Swazi worth growing indoors?

Here it is just after being planted:

And as it grows:

And here it is now, taken as this post was written:

It most probably came out of a stash like this:

Thanks for any advice or replies

The roots are hitting the bottom of the glass and growing upwards, should I move the plant into a bigger space? Would it survive in such a small glass?

cant believe you would put it in a GLASS. you need something that the water can drain out of. yes put it in a bigger pot asap. and the roots will love you for it.

Moved the plant into a big pot that should sustain it for the rest of its life, its growth has been stunned a little but it should be ok now that there is more space for the roots.

Can't post pictures today, cellphone is dead, but I'll post some updates on the growth tomorrow.

She has really grown these last few days, and especially now that she has better soil and shes in a bigger pot that drains well. I bought a new grow light for her today, should be a little better for her than the previous one I was using. And yes I've decided its a girl (well I can only hope).

Anyway here are some update pics:

The new light has been doing great, I also put another 60W bulb on the side of the plant on top of that light and it has been going 24/0 for the last 9 days and has grown alot.

First set of 7 fingers grew, and then a second set, and then a third set, currently the fourth set of 7 fingers? is growing today. Anyway here are some update pictures and I'm wondering if I should trim the top?

The rule of the thumb with growing any plant is the bigger the pot the bigger the plant. More room for growth. Second i would take advantage of sun light

outdoor will do you the best. you dont have enough watts w desk lamps. More potent outdoor. And yes it will stink up your house.
