First Grow Strain Advice Please

I am preparing to do a first grow in about a month. While it is the first time to grow weed, I am an experienced gardener, indoors and out. I am not so much concerned with growing mechanics as I am about acquiring kickass seed.

You can see my story in my welcome thread but, long story short, I used to smoke a lot and then hardly at all for about 20 years during the child rearing era. Back in the day, I preferred a heady, giggly, clean, ambitious high - I'm a get out and go type. I am not really huge on body stoning and certainly not couchlock, except on special occasions. OTOH, my wife is a fan of the body stone and when we used to smoke we never agreed on what was the "best" stash.

So, I'd like to plant 100 sq ft of space with half Sativa and half Indica. Can someone suggest a strain or two of each as a first time effort and give a specific place to buy the seeds (reliability and quality and not price is the key). THANKS!

Two sites sponsor rollitup.org
Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds, and Nirvana. I have ordered from Dr. Chronic as well. Satisfactory prices and shipping. great strains.

Midgrade's got a good point, those strains are demanding.
Northern lights never dissapoints.
In what way demanding? Keep in mind that I am not challenging, just asking because i don't know (and the sponsor site list White and NL both as moderate in difficulty).

Aren't NL and AK both indicas. I'd like to try one sativa even is none are considered "easy" to grow. I can always grow an eassy indica type to insure a usable crop. Thanks so far!

"Crystal" also looks interesting

By that I mean , they like a certain humidity, temperature, nutrient ppm strength, soil moisture content, and require many weeks of attention. Without these elements, yield is weak and potency can be deminished.

It is worth the effort to pay the extra attention in the long run, who the hell knows, you might grow it without a hitch. Just play the odds.

Jack Herer is one of my new favs. great "trail bud" as my hiking buddies and I call up-high cannabis.

Jack be pricy! :)

I see in the FAQ's that paying for beans via credit card is roundly discouraged. Do most use a MO, or what?

Send cash in a card. That is the rumor anyway. I'm happy with my bag seed grow to be perfectly honest
