Hello! this is my first grow ever! Ive done a nice amount of research and this is what i got so far
SEEDS:
Growing from seed, currently have 3 strawberry cough seeds 1 white smurf seeds and 2 random bag seeds that i got form some bomb a while back, all put to germinate last night.
LIGHTS:
4 CFL's 26watt (100 watt replacements)
i know you use 2700k for flowering and 6500k for veg but ive seen alot of people starting to use them together to give a better light spectrum, because of this 2 of the Cfls are 6500k while the other two are 2700k.
MEDIUM:
i have miracle grow potting soil as well as some peat moss and perlite, i got some bone meal but still need to pick up a veg booster or blood meal.
I still havent made my soil mix with the perlite, peat moss, and the miracle grow potting soil. if anyone know a good mix of these please let me know!
VENTILATION:
2 exhaust fans one on the inside of the grow room attached to the wall, the other at the end of the exhaust tube and right before the homemade carbon filter.
3 slits cut on the opposite side of the box for passive intake.
CABINET:
about 13 1/2" wide, 13 1/2" deep, and about 18" tall
I plan to keep about 1-2 plants and will add some more CFls on the side during flowering, ive heard the CFLS dont do too much good if theyre over 6" from the plants
Home made light reflector with a fan to keep it a little cooler
Also i am thinking i might go ScroG with just one plant, we will see soon!
