Honestly they look like they just went into flower 2-3 weeks ago. I feel like a broken record lately, if you don't master the cfl grow, your plant will be way behind compared to a hps...

yer the thing is im on a shoe string budget, and i know that hps is expensive and puts out alot of heat which i dont have room to get the light far enough away from the light, also with hps you need to buy a transformer as well cant plug strait into the normal light socket. the size was about 9-10inches but it is only 14days or so into flowering how long do u reckon i should have it in flower for?
This isn't true... You don't need a "transformer" for HPS lights and they DO plug right into the wall. High Tech Garden Supply I understand you don't have room to get a HPS but just wanted to clear this up.

I have grown sadhu before and i can definitly tell you that your plants do not do justice to the strain. You're just gonna have to bite the bullet and invest in proper lighting. I grew my sadhu under an extra 600w metal halide i had lying around. I didn't even bother to switch to HPS during flowering since i planned to breed the sadhu and I wasn't concerned about yield. Even without switching to an HPS, the seeded top colas were about 12 inches long and 2 inches wide. I have no idea what the yield would have been had the plants not been seeded but they wound up being about 3 feet high, and very bushy. If i had to guess I would place the yield (dry) between 2 and 4 ounces per plant. It has been a long time since i grew the strain and i can't recall veg time or flowering time, however i do remember that the latter was very short. This is one of the shortest strains i have ever grown and has a branching habit that rivals white widow. Don't feel bad about the small buds, they look just like my first grow :P
