It's growing pretty quickly and I had to make some changes.

Here's a top view before I changed the box
Day 18 top.jpg

I needed more light so I made a complete DIY light holder from a broken lamp I had.
Luckily I bought a 2pk of these bulbs!

Try and go easy on me. It is my first grow and I have a small budget. Box is temporary don't forget!!

Good save on the plant hope, the others looking good too, especially for a low budget. I was in the same boat at one time. At home depot you should be able to find multi socket adapters that fit into your light socket that expand your socket to 2 or 3 bulbs. They are fairly cheap and you can add more cfls to that. You can also get cheap 2ft or 4ft florescent shoplights for about $10 per unit and home depot or walmart for vegging. The bulbs are only like $6 for a 2 pack and they add much more light overhead than the cfl's. They also have the big 43 watt equivalent cfl's at walmart if you have one in your area. Good luck with the grow, Im subbing.

Looks good. If your using miracle grow i wouldnt add nutes for a while since the soil already has some time release nutes. Yeah add more light to them whenever you do get more money. Subbed + rep.

Noted. I've put roughly 15 drops since she was started though. I think it's been saturated enough to have lost most if not all of it's initial nutes. But I've been taking it easy on the nutes in the first few weeks nonetheless.

This bagseed is smelling dank as hell I can't believe it. I do to need take a small PC fan from one of my broken down machines and wire it up for an exhaust fan

You getting along great. One question are you putting molasses on it yet? Molasses will make the bud denser and it's cheap. Use unsulfered molasses, like Baer Rabbit. 1 tbs per gallon. Most bud builder are just molasses. I use molasses when I mix my soil. Molasses feeds the micro organism in the soil that break down the nutes that feed your plant. I use it all along. It will make your buds as hard as a rock and bigger. Just a thought. I like how you handle yourself. Just learning like you. Check out my grow to see what can be done with no money. Take care....rw

I'm still needing to learn how to judge the buds for harvesting. Still watching my monster sativa closeley. She's looking more and more ready each day but I'm just not sure how much longer. Will post pictures in morning when she is awake. Until then, a few helpful hints would be appreciated.

This was taken on 4/4/12IMG_1227.jpg
But like I said would be more accurate tomorrow.

Thanks all

See How long the white hairs are. They haven't receded yet and the buds haven't swelled up yet. If you can wait at least two more weeks. You will thank me . . But if to want harvest a couple of the tops. And leave some of the lOwer buds to ripen. That would be the way to tell for yourself. CHopping is a preference. She looks to be sativa. Honestly 11-15 weeks is an average flowering period for sativa dominant strains.

Once the hairs aren't so long And have receded is your best bet I think.

I thought sativas have super skinny leaves? Maybe a mostly sativa 60/40
