First Grow Micro Closet 2 Plant Blackstar LED

Whats up everyone. Decided to journal my first grow which is consisting of one Nirvanna Ice Feminized seed and one Sweet Seeds Ice Cool Feminized seed. If anyone has experience with either of these two strains your input would be greatly appreciated. I am using a mix of Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Miracle Grow Moisture Control Potting Soil in 5 gallon smart pots from the beginning to cut out transplantation and minimize stress. The lighting I am using for veg includes two 135 watt Blackstar LED UFO one for each plant and three 23 watt CFL's at 5500k for supplementation that I will switch to three 100 watt CFL's at 2700k for flowering. I currently keep them on a 24/0 light cycle and they are about 12 inches above the top of the pot. The temperature stays between 80 and 85 degrees and the humidity stays between 40% and 60%. Any information on lighting height and proper temperature and humidity levels would be greatly appreciated. I germinated using the paper towel method using water mixed with General Hydroponics Rapid Start which I am planning on using throughout the entire grow. The only other nutrients I will be using are Botanicare Liquid Karma starting at day 14 through the entire grow, and Fox Farms Cha Ching during flowering. Any other experience, input, or opinions on these nutrients or additional nutrients would also be extremely appreciated.

Day 7 in Soil: Whats up everyone. Wanted to attach some pictures through day 7 since they have been in soil. Giving them no nutrients yet except for the Rapid Start for root growth. Pics below, comments appreciated!

Day 8: Quick update with some pics. im not sure how much water I should be giving them at this stage but they look nice and green.

Day 9: Day nine ladies and gentlemen. They look nice and green and the lights are great. I just wish they were a little bit bigger by now. Its been nine days since they were planted and probably about 6 since they have popped out of the soil. Check out the pics. Comments always appreciated.

Looking good man, can I get a startup cost from you?
I have a closet that's 6' tall but only like 3' deep and 3' wide. I already wasted money on a 600w which obviously won't work in there so I'm kinda deciding between a dual spectrum 200/300 cfl and an led. Not sure about the price of led's though as I still need to spend prly a ton on nutes and pots and ventilation

Well the two 135 watt blackstar UFO led were 180 each. The three supplemental CFLs were you know like 20 dollars tops. the lighting fixtures for the CFLS were 6 dollars. the mylar was pretty expensive pots wernt bad. Everything including the liquid karma the cha ching the rapid start and the ph meter and soil kit everything was about 750 dollars which isnt bad.

Day 10: Whats up guys. I took these last night but didnt post them because I was wayy too wasted. But I got the temps down and there looking nice and green. Comments welcome

Day 11: These are from tonight gettin bigger by the minute. Cant wait till i can start giving it liquid karma

Day 13: Been 13 days since they have been planted in the soil. Been sporadically giving them a few squirts out of the squirt bottle with the General Hydroponics Rapid Start. Lookin pretty green and healthy. Do you guys think they should be any bigger at this stage. They have been popped out of the soil for about 11 days. Ive got the temps back to normal range but I need to increase the humidity. Any ideas? Also was wondering when you guys think I can start the liquid karma at small dosages. Pretty impressed with the Blackstar LEDs at this point. Check out the pics. Comments appreciated!!

Day 15: The babies are lookin good nice and green and healthy. But they were growing sideways almost like they needed support so i gave them a little as you can see in the pics. And comments on weather this was a good idea or a bad idea would be greatly appreciated. On a side note i bought a silver surfer vape today and I have never been a vape guy but i absolutly love this one. Check out the pics. WHen should I start liquid karma?

Day 16: Got a humidifier and some smaller fans to blow for enhanced stem growth. The temps are are between 75 and 82 and im gettin the humidity up to about 50. Are these viable for vegg? Maybe there a little behind because my soil pH is off? Also wondering when you guys think I can start the liquid karma? Check out the pics!

Day 17: Day 17 yall. looin pretty good thinkin about starting liquid karma. Check out the pics.

Looks good so far. I would try to move the light a little closer if possible. I looks a little high up in the pics. Get'em as close as possible without burning or bleaching.

Was is a good idea? I don't know but you're in the moment now, no time for doubts and looking back. Take those plants to the moon, you won't regret it in the end.

I would start on the nutes now. Go light, if they don't show any burn put the pedal down. Keep us posted because I'm about to purchase some of the same stuff you are using to good luck.

Day 18: Sup guys. The humidifier is working great keeping it up to about 60% while the temps are staying a steady 78. I took some pics to try to show how far away the lights are from the plants. Any comments about that would be appreciated. In terms of health they are nice and green and thick and robust. The small desk fans have greatly helped with making the stalks thicker and stronger. Growth wise they might be slightly behind but keep in mind this is day 18 since they have been placed in soil. They didnt pop till two days later. With regards to watering im not really sure if im doing it right. I might be over watering because i dont have a set watering cycle yet. because of the moisture control soil and because i have them in five gallon pots, its hard to tell when they need water because im not dousing the whole pot. I have just been spraying the base like five squirts each whenever i feel like they are a little dry. Any suggestions? Tomorrow Im going to the grow shop to pick up the Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow for vegg as well as Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Soil for flowering to go along with my micronutriend supplements of Botanicare Liquid Karma for all growth, General Hydroponics Rapid Start Rool stimulator for the whole growth, and Fox Farms ChaChing for flowering. Any comments on nutrient lineup would be appreciated. Links below for the nutes.

I just got back from the grow shop and made the first two gallons of nutrients. The first gallon just contained 1ml or a 1/4 teaspoon of rapid start which put it at like 40ppm. The second galon contained 1ml of rapid start, 5ml of liquid karma, and 5ml of the botanicare pro grow vegg putting the solution at about 350 ppm. Very low dosage for the first time they are receiving nutrients. I watered each with about a half gallon of the liquid karma and pro grow solution, the first time I watered the entire pot. I am planning on giving nutrients every other water, one with everything then one with just rapid start. Depending on the reaction I might bump the next one up to like 600 ppm. I will post pics later tonight. Any comments on the solution or watering techniques would be greatly appreciated.

Day 20: Whats up guys. Have not watered since saturday afternoon. Planning on watering sometime tomorrow with just the rapid start. They are getting bigger every day in my opinion and i think the roots are starting to stretch. Trying to decide weather to top / supercrop these plants , or just let them grow their course. They are looking really really green as the temps stay around 78 and the humidity at 60%. Should be exciting from here on out. Comments appreciated.

Its day 23 just gave them their second dose of nutrients. They responded well to the first mix so I upped the dose a little adding 10ml of Liquid Karma And 10ml of the Pro-Grow as well as 1ml of the rapid start. Pics tonight
