Hey this is my first grow so very new to this. I've got a Mr nice guy bout 6 weeks old just started seeing pistils on January 1st happy new year I've been lst'ing for bout two weeks I have tons on tops now but plant is getting ridiculously bushy I've tried tucking the leaves back under every which way possible but still keeps taking over my box. Question is can I prune the leaves in flowering and if so any suggestions on how. Thanks in advance for any responses.

There are two schools of thought on this, and I don't really have enough experience to opine on either. But I can say that you'll get responses both ways. I can also say that I tend to let things be, but that's just my personal predilection. Depending on how your canopy's developed, though, from what I've heard, it's best to trim the lower growth away, sort of lollipopping the tops.

Cheers and good luck!

trimming is often utilized to improve air circulation as opposed to allowing more light on the lower buds.

Leaves are the life-line to your plant, trimming has little to no value

Thanks all for the quick responses kind of leaning towards leaving it alone. If it's not broke don't fix kinda deal I guess. Happy growing thanks again

As an advanced grower you will probably start trimming one day. On your next grow do a little more research and dedicate one plant to a trimming procedure and see how you feel it worked out. That way if you screw up you wont be killing your whole crop.
