Starting first grow. Got 6 feminized chocolope seeds for 200 can. Then got a 1000w hps deluxe kit for 200 can off of kijiji. All seeds germinated via paper towel method in about 2.5 days and have been transported to pots using Miracle-Gro® Seed Starting Potting Mix because of the fact:

Light weight mix of sphagnum peat moss and perlite
Ideal for germinating seeds and rooting leaf, stem and root cuttings
Enriched with Miracle-Gro® Plant Food to help build strong roots

After which we've got regular potting soil with nutrients. The nutrients i am using are 8-16-8 for the grow which is as close as i could find to 10-20-10.
Gonna go floros for the first few weeks then switch it up.

gonna keep the temp around 23 - 28C with a humidity of around 50 %. Problem right now im finding is its winter, the room is in the basement and the closet is around 17. Trying to get the temp up. Pics to follow later.

good luck with your gro....if u got 1000wt hps make sure u have a good cooling system...a fan to pull the air off the bulb is best....

thanks, yeah, we plan on having a fan going, nice thing is the room as a door going outside so we can crack that/the window when needed.

DAY 3

No sprout yet, haha i'm getting anxious. Skunk seeds are germinating elsewhere right now and will be added in the next week or so. Also, I've had to move my grow. Instead of the closet, i've made a more appropriate box to veg the ladies in until they outgrow it in a couple weeks.

Temp: 21.5
Humidity: was 38% but has since moved up to 48% since watering.

DAY 5

Alright so its day number five since these little one have been put in the soil. there was no sign of them until late last night when three of them broke the soil and two have grown quite a bit since breaking soil. one of them is about 3/4" high and looks like it still has the seed shell on it. should i go ahead and try and take this off, or will it shed it itself? also, the three that haven't sprouted, i've been thinking and i may have accidentally planted the germinated seeds sprout up.. i have no idea i was pretty baked

Anyways, im not too worried, we'll see what happens.

Skunk #11 updates coming soon

Temp: 21.5 - 22.5 C
Humidity: Approx 40%

DAY 7

so far 4/6 have sprouted and are all coming along nicely. as for the other two, i've left the glass on their pots hoping they'll sprout, even though its been 7 days in soil. ive been watering them but only very little, <70ml ea every day or so. also, how long should i wait to switch from the 24hr lights on to 18-6?

Temp: 24 deg C
Humidity: 35%

EDIT: although the soil color looks different, its actually the same, for two of the pics the flash went off and the other two didnt... thats all.

feel free to chime in people
