First Grow in Flowering, Querkle with Pics

I water every 3-4 days, whenever theyre dry really. I've only given them nutes once, last time I watered I used just a splash of bud candy(per gallon)

That plant looks really great bro I'm sub'd...I was planning on ordering some of subcool's seeds for my next grow I'm probabably going to get his Jillybean and/or Jack the ripper

TGA is definitely the only company I'll ever get seeds from, the plants grew with such minimal effort and knowledge. The price is way too high imo, a 10 pack of Querkle(non fem) from Attitude I payed like $120+. Maybe thats cheap for this good of bud, this is my first grow so I really have no visual experience of other strains growth besides what I have now, and I have to say the cash was completely worth the beauty. Hats off to Subcool.

Officially week four and they're really developing. The buds/leaves are huge filled with crystals. Smell is starting to come in a lot more, really musty. Querkle is said to be a 55 day flower but I want to try 60, not to overdevelop but not to under-develop. Any thoughts on this? Pictures halfway through week 5 coming soon in the meantime I smoke shit bud =[

have you read Tardis's smoke report on Querkle, maybe he'd have thoughts on this. His is an outdoor though. 5 days isn't much difference.

Hey Querkle, the ladies look great. Love the pictures of the flowers, makes my mouth water. I hope my flowers look as nice and crystally as your. I've never smoked it before but now I really want too!

hey querklecakes, do you recall the amount of stretching it did when you switched from vegging to flowering?

Stretching as in getting bigger? Hell yeah, about a week into flower they got completely rootbound in 5 gallon pots, had to switch to 7. They completely shot up when I switched. A problem I'm currently having; my plants are getting too big and exceeding my canopy's height(6 feet) I'm not sure what to do... One of the tops of a plant is brown and burnt, i'm worried in about a week this will progress to the others and my grow will be shot =[ I accidentally vegged about 3 weeks too long and originally had no intention of having such huge beastly beauty's. The smell is very musty, the plants have such a dank sweet smell that overwhelms your senses its great. My buddy is comin over to toke some buds with me this week I'll have him snap a few shots of week 5. Peace till then.

easiest solution is to tie them down

tie them down to what? and how do I go about doing so? I want to be really fragile I'm always nervous about handling the plants >.<

drill a hole in the side of your pots and loop a string, wire etc. Toss it over your main stem at the top third and pull it down till it's horizontal. In 24 hours the top will reorient itself back to vertical. It's a Hemp plant, they make rope out of the stem fibres.
Below is my Willie Nelson, it was toped and had multiple stems so I just tied it with twist ties to a neighbor stem.

problem solved, thanks again frmrboi. The plants are growin rapidly, most areas of the plant are just entirely covered in bud. As I previously stated in the thread I haven't used any nutes up until this point. 3 waterings ago I gave the plants bud candy, repeated the next watering, and with the suggestion of a friend stopped after the 2nd dose. I've now returned to just regular water; I know they'll need more nutes eventually but I'm not sure when. Also previously said I have a bottle of Tiger Bloom and Bud Candy so thats what I have to work with. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks again

Week 5 almost week 6, looking beautiful. As you can see, my personal plant(the most developed) has many orange hairs/hint of purple/CRAZY crystals etc, whereas some of the others look like they remain far behind in growth. Maybe this is just me and I'm over-thinking it? I don't know, but looking at these plants right now, it is fair to say that I'll have me quite a bit of bubble hash
Its really great to wrap this up around the holidays, I've just found myself a new Christmas tradition! Happy Hollidays, opinions appreciated.

Bump, just smoked with my buddy who takes the pics. He brought a strain called Purple Evolution and after 1 pack of my Ehle, well, a couple, he got so tripped out I had to drive him home (only 18 dont have a license) was crazy. Can't imagine the reactions to my Querkle. So I'd really like to hear it from someone who has smoked the strain, how would you rate querkle in taste among other high quality strains you've smoked? Any answers get +rep
