First grow, how am I doing?

You have to induce flowering by cutting back the light. It takes on average 12 hours of complete darkness to build enough hormones to flower. This 12 hour cycle can not be interrupted ever, if its disrupted it could result in unstable plants possibly making unstable offspring. You can decrease light in the flower cycle (i recommend you do so )but not increase it after 12 on 12 off. I run mine at 11 hours on 13 off and my room moves fast.
I will agree but add that most indica and indica dominant hybrids will start to flower around 14 hours light and ten hours dark.

Sativa's being equatorial strains get 12/12 or close to it all their life will flower at 12/12 and some need to go as low as 10/14.

what makes you think i don't have my own filter? (i dont have to post every fucking thing on this shit, only what i think is important to me...)
btw i made another thread on filters... no one was giving me quick answers to what i needed on this thread.

i agree with you, but don't push too far.

fuck autos.
Autos are OK.

What do you need to know about filters.

i've had a guy say you should prune your plant... then weeks after i pruned it, some guy comes out and says you almost killed your plant by pruning it. Its hard to tell whos right and whos wrong.
Take a look at the person giving advice threads. Dr pecker grows good weed.

A person giving advice should be able to provide pics of nice plants.

yeah, don't trust them anymore though lol
Why? I don't understand. No reason not to trust them.

If they are from a reputable breeder then they are just as potent as photoperiod plants.

That plant in the pic was from mephisto genetics. It was a free comparison grow from the vault seed bank. Most of the mephisto plants looked great.

There are sketchy breeders out there. You can get bunk photo and auto plants.

When making a decision buying seeds I look every strain up and look through several grow journals and read smoke reports and reviews on grow sites. I also researched seed banks before choosing one.

All three of these are autos. Those are 15 inch wide pots a little shorter and wider than a five gallon bucket.

I told him that only to speed up the flowering time he's running out of head room.

Thank you.

I agree with speeding up flower.

I was clarifying since the op is new to growing. I should've stated what I meant a little clearer.

Op, I would keep up a suggested.

There are several things that affect how fast a plant transitions to flower. Genetics, type of light and amount of light.

The closer to the light, the 'shorter' it will grow??? Always wanted to know

The less light you have, the faster the flowering and the sooner you can get it out of there. What I mean by less light is, less hours of light, not light intensity. We're trying to get you some buds and get your next plant in that box. :bigjoint:

Can too much fans fuck up flowering during night??
You just want enough to keep the air and plant moving. You don't want too much it will start drying up leaves. You can test it if you want, if you start seeing the leaves bending then just back off on the fans.

The trick to that is don't listen to any one person and read ALOT find 20 diff opinions and then find the science behind them and then make Your move. It's easier to change something your doing the to undo it
