First Grow: Hempy bucket under CFLs from bagseed

i have no idea i ignored em and one day trimmin up my plant stumbled across them and dumped to pollen from the flower cut em asap

i've made some improvements in the last couple days that i think will really help my finished product. I made some decent homemade cfl fixtures, and i have the closet up to 340w now. i already saw a pretty good increase in trichs since the light increase. ive also been satisfied with the swelling, but would like to see more so i got sum humboldt big up powder today to add to the regimine. im startin to see why most people harvest too early. i have to look at these plants gettin danker everyday but know im not gonna be smokin them for 6 or 7 weeks atleast.

thought i'd peek at your grow op, your grow box does seem to be filling up with dank
sigh, i had hoped to be closer to where you are now, eventually i hope
6-7 more weeks, that's with 1 week dry/4 week cure?
you looked a little further along, but my bud eye has withered from lack of practice lately

yeah, i'm even further now since i haven't updated in a little while. i'm actually approaching harvest pretty soon. im gonna start flushing tommorow. i took a little sample, but its still dryin. The nug on the biggest plant is gettin really huge and i think my goal of an ounce of dank might become a reality. i cant wait to reveg, redo my grow op, and have an even better round 2.

Ok, its almost time for harvest, and I can't wait. I started flushin my system on monday, and i think i almost have all the nutes out. I took a sample about a week ago. I'm waiting right now to get pics of that sample up. the sample of my big plant was very dense and even though it wasnt dried and cured properly, it got me kinda high off just a couple of hits. My plants are looking more dank every day, and im gonna have a lot of sugar leaf to make hash. I still can't believe how successful this first grow has been. gardening is definitely my new favorite hobby

HydroClosetGrower... dude your had a great grow for a begginer... i am gettin ready to go into my first hempy bucket grow and am hoping for the same luck you had... i have a couple questions for you though...
1) with the perlite how often did you water the plant and what nutrience did you use...
2) did you mix the nutrience or jus give it to it straight
3) how big was the containers that you planted into

its good to hear ur goin with the hempy bucket method. i kinda switched to dwc and i'm somewhat regretting it. ne ways, to answer ur questions:

I had a perlite vermiculite mix in 5 gal buckets with holes a few inches up. I had a timer set to water the plants twice a day. The one thing i would tell you is to put something over the perlite or it will get nasty and moldy. either a cover or even another medium like hydroton that won't have that problem. I wouldn't use 5 gal buckets tho unless you want really big plants. I had the nutrients mixed in a seperate bucket with an airston and the pump on the timer. thanks for takin a look. btw, two plants in one 5 gal hempy bucket got me about 2.5 o's under cfls

thanks man i transplanted my plant out of the bubble cloner a few days ago and can already tell that this is gonna go good she is growing about an inch a day and looking strong....
