Well I looked through the uk ebay. Well I didnt see a whole lot for right around 124 in euro's but If you do a little more looking around Im sure you can find one at a deal a little lower than that one. But if you do find one you like I would deffinetly look into a digital ballast and not a magnetic, The digitals run quiter, cooler, and more efficient. Their usually like 10 bucks more for digital rather than magnetic!

Not really, it does for early vegging but thats about it. I have used it on small plants in the past. If you want yield and potency as well as flavour get some serious nutrients. What can you get hold of ? I spotted bio-bizz earlier in your thread.

Just places you can buy from. It really depends how you wanna roll with your nutrients.

Chems or organics ? simple or complicated ? do you have PH and EC meters but if you dont that rules out a few nutrients.

Give me a few hints so I don't have to read through your whole thread please :P

cheers man. eh not too complicated if possible. I only have a basic PH tester but plan on getting a digi one soon.

Im in soil not fussed out chems or organics tbh.

Its down to you. I run the full house and garden range with a few other additives and it makes for a fairly complicated feeding schedule but I am very happy with the results.

I know a guy who uses sugar peak grow and bloom, his green is nice and there is lots of it, but it doesn't smoke as clean as mine and doesn't get you quite as high.

His nutrients are 10 quid a bottle, in total I have spent over 300 on nutrients just for a couple of runs, I havent even used some of them but it allows me more room to play and experiment having them on hand.

I would look at Canna, Sugar Peak Earth Juice, House and Garden (I use them they rock and you won't here me banging on about anything else), Advanced (overpriced IMO), Plant Magic have a good rep on uk420 I have never used them though, Bio-bizz are also excellent and give a really nice flavour.

Give me a hint please lol

Digital PH meters are necessary for most of the serious nutrient ranges.

However I personally know you can get away without using one with Sugar Peak Earth Juice and Bio bizz.

I have always ph'd canna and house and garden and Advanced

You can use the nutes I use and I will give you a hint or two and you will get results but they are expensive.

You want simple, Try House and Garden Roots Excel (if you can afford it its miracle juice), a bottle of bio bizz bio grow and bio bizz bio bloom. If your going chem switch the bio grow or bloom out for sugar peak earth juice grow and bloom. Maybe get a flowering booster like some shooting powder, some overdrive or some atami boombastic.

As simple as it gets would just be biobizz bio grow and bio bloom.

Completely up to you what you use, no one really sells bad nutrients its just using the nutrients you have in the correct way to achieve the end result you want.

You might get away with not PH'ing Canna I don't know. With it being chemical you will sacrifice a little flavour for potency and yield.

The basic formula to live by is grow food, bloom food. Thats it. You elaborate from there.

So if you get biobizz start them on 1ml per litre of bio grow and work up to 3 over the next two weeks or so. Then drop the bio grow down to 1 ml and start the bloom at 1ml per litre. Slowly work up until you hit maybe even 1 ml of grow and 4ml of bloom per litre. I only found this needed once when I was using bio bizz nutes.

If you want to elaborate on that get a roots product. Canna rhizotonic (the biobizz roots product is overpriced IMO) or House and Garden Roots Excel (still banging on about it). or think about a flowering booster. maybe an enzyme product. Multizym, sensizym or cannazym.

Just please please please only feed your plants when they are hungry not for the sake of feeding. Hungry plants grow faster when fed if you catch what I mean. Its the biggest noob mistake and 'everyone' does it at least once.

Yeah they have Bio heaven (little bottle very expensive - I bought it anyway and use it as a tonic but very sparingly due to cost) thats more of a tonic thought.
They have Alg-a-mic which is a seaweed based supplement which is very good for them (also pretty much stops the mag issue I mentioned at week 3).
and Top-Max which is their booster. I never bought and never tried it so I can't really help on that one. Some people recommend it and somepeople say its soso.... If your using biobizz use just biobizz nutes first time round (unless its something like roots excel). So I would think about getting it.

Basically the alg-a-mic is a good to have and the top-max is the booster for the bio bizz range.

Ps cheers for the rep.

Pps Check my journal out some time :) first page has my nutes last and second to last has my recent pics

oh and make sure you keep 1ml per litre of grow up until the last week or so of flower. Bio grow and bio bloom make a feed together the bloom on its own is missing sugars and B vitamins that the bio grow contains.
