First grow. Help me with my (too) cheap light.

Hey guys. Long time lurker here.

So this is my first growing cannabis ever. I bought a (too) cheap LED UFO, with no manual or nothing.
I'm having a hard time figuring out how high i should keep it over my plant.

There is no info about recommended hight. I tried to google "277 x SMD5730 " and found another cheap LED UFO that looks like mine, with the same LEDS installed.
their recomended hight over plants is 1,6m - 1,8m which sounds crazy. Please help me with at guestimate on recommended hight, thanks.

I don't think you'll grow much under a 75w burple.

I just did a quick google and found that and thought id share it for ya.

If your in a legal state, get on Craigslist. Shit I have 8 1000w on there now.


You should be able to find some better lighting on the cheap. You could even get a Chinese 315 from dh gate and have a much better experience. With reasonable lighting you’ll find things will go much more smoothly.

I'm in Denmark, where its illegal as hell. I really dont wanna invest too much money in this adventure just yet.
Since its not legal and i live in an apartment, i gotta know if this is for me. The smell, heat ,noise etc. and the keeping it as secret with guests and family coming and going all the time. If this turns out to be for me, ill definitely get better lights (and everything else!)

So for now i just need some help with the right distance. ive been playing with different distances, but i just burned the pistils on the main cola having the light too close
