First grow harvest - swiss cheese and white widow - HELP!!

Hello guys, I know this question is asked day in day out but there are some things you guys can tell me that any amount of reading or researching cannot!

I hve read pages and pages on trichome and pistil colour and have now fully confused myself - 10%amber, 80%amber, brown pistils, yellow leaves.

Here are my babies they are both in week 8 of flowering and are on their final phase (AN) flush. The trichomes are mostly cloudy on the small leaves around the buds but the swiss cheese is due to finish very soon and still has lush green fan leaves. The white widow is due between now and 2 more weeks but looks more ready than the S.Cheese.

Please help guys - where do I stand and what do I do.

They all still have at least 2 weeks left, likely more. The only accurate way to guage maturity, it to monitor the trichs. If they're already mostly cloudy, they'll soon start turning amber, and that's where it gets down to personal preference. Some harvest at 5-10% amber, for a uplifting sort of buzz, some harvest when many more have turned(like 75%, for example), for a more couchlock buzz, and many guys wait til about 50% have turned, for a happy medium. I like to harvest at 5-10%, myself.

Sometimes I harvest at 0%, if I happen to be hard up for cash.

Thanks for the advice - so another 2 weeks - itso hard to wait!

BUMP! Any other views people - should I turn my lights down to 8 hours for the last 2 weeks to promote THC growth?
