Hey RIU. Got a nice set of ladies. Pine express, blueberry, orange, mazar, and OG Kush. I realize growing all these strains at once is a bad first move! ha ha

I've been on 12/12 since Halloween. The ladies are underneath a 600w hps and a 400w hps. The room is approx 6X4 but it's only about 5 feet tall.

Being a new grower, I definitely vegged out way too long. I topped the two tallest which were blueberry and orange. I'm not terribly concerned about any but those two. I'm approaching about a foot left in the room. I have been trying to figure out how I will mitigate this height issue and avoid burning my first ladies!

The blueberry had two stems that were pulling apart from the main stem so I duct taped them up. (see the picture).

Topping is the way to go! I've learned so much so far and look forward to my next crop already!!!!!

tie em down. tie a string towards the top of your plant and slowly bend your plant to the side. don't go overboard or you might break your girls.

I drill holes in the pot, and then use the green twisty ties (like for your garage bag tops) from the nursery. easier then string because you can tighten it up over time easily. I've actually been able to bend an "S" shape by securing from two different sides and tightening a little more every couple of days.
