Here is the latest pics. So these girls are in week 6 and seem pretty good. I have them 12-12 since yesterday. I want to make sure they are ready for the flowering stage. Let me know what you guys think, thanks.View attachment 2691617View attachment 2691618
They ready when you say they ready, that's the thing about growing indoors.
We can control the flowering, veg it as long or short of time as you want. I skip veg all together my lights stay on 12x12,less yield-less time.
Yours look good to me,you got a good set up,it's a lot like mine.
I want to watch this one to see your yield & time,I may want to veg one day.
Good Luck & heavy yields to ya.

Yes I went on 12-12 this weekend and I'm going with MH all the way! I'll drop the coin on another ballast and bulb on the next adventure. One more question, how far should I keep this 400W off these bad boys? I don't want to burn them up

I tried to tell you in the +rep, add a few "daylight" CFL's (26 or 42 watt) to increase your plants' exposure to red spectrum light, which should reduce stretching and speed up the flowering process (the blue spectrum causes stretching but also drags out the flowering period a week or two more). All in all though, I think you made the right choice.

i would still move your power strip as well off the ground. water and electricity don't mix, all it takes is something to leak or spill and u short out your power strip and ballast, buy a little shelf and place all electrical stuff higher then your water level. It will keep your grow space clean, and more importantly safe! plants look great.

Good idea getting the power bar off the ground...I usually hang it on the wall with some plastic screw or nail in wire clips...safety first. They look sweet! What nutes r u running?

I usually refer to that as a quick reference, but I noticed you can get quite a lot closer with appropriate air flow/ventilation. More a list of how FAR you can get from the plants than how CLOSE you can get.

Thanks guys, I think I've been little far away. I was more like 2-3 feet when I started. A lot better now that these bitches are growing good. Each of them drink a gallon of water a day! Is that shit normal?

I though the same but it really doesn't get that hot. I have a fan in there which seems to work well on cooling. It's a 400 MH running 18-6. You think 12 12 would be better at this point? Not sure what training is so I don't think I'm doing that lol. Thanks for the input dudes
training= LST'ing those shits so light can get to the middle of the plant.youtube search supercropping and topping

Yeah first time, so far so good. It's a science project but I'm enjoying. I though about cropping them but I'm still a little nervous about it. I'll post some new pics, going on week 3 of flowering and I just saw some action for the first time this morning. Thanks as always guys.

Wow, a gallon a day per PLANT?? I don't envy you. I've never had a plant drink nearly that much, so for me that's not normal, but I've been told it can vary greatly from strain to strain, and I've only grown five or so different strains. Watch your pH and EC levels closely, they'll likely vary a lot with that much water loss. Glad to hear things are going well buddy!
