First grow-dying leave with new growth?

This is my first grow and I started off using White Castle and Mazir I Shariff. I started flowering them 2 weeks ago and I noticed a lot of my leaves are dying but I'm still getting new growth. I'm running a 400 watt HPS light in a 4x8 grow tent. The soil I'm using is fox farm ocean forest and fertilizing with tiger bloom. I'm using tap water and treating it with top fin dechlorinator and using PH down. I test the PH before using it and it usually around 6.2. What can be the cause of most of my leaves dying but new one's still growing?

here's some pics of the Mazir
and here's some pics of the white castle
any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

wow they look horrible. lol whats the temp running? looks like mag def. to me
lol, thanks. Yea, man I'm kind of disappointed. I forgot to mention I live in the high desert of California and the temps have been pretty hot still. I had a feeling it might be due to heat stress. Temps are ranging from 79-107 in the tent.

If your temps are above 100 for a sustained period of time throughout the day, that could be a major factor why your shit is dying.

Although, it seems that having the cal/mag problem is pretty common, that may be an additional issue, the main issue is the heat.

I've heard of people still able to grow in high temps. I just thought high temps will just stunt the growth of the plant, not kill it. I think mazir i shariff is from Afghanistan and it gets triple digits out there all the time. So I would of thought it would of been able to sustain the heat. I have an exhaust and intake fan in there, but I guess it's not doing it's job since it still gets really hot in there.

So is the heat whats causing the plant to die out like this? I noticed in my veg area its doing the same thing and the temps in there are a lot cooler.

I am having similar problems and this is my second grow. Both times i have had this problem. My PH is out of control and i dont know why. I think it may mag/pot issue cant tell if it is low or high though. I adjust my ph every two to three hours. It will raise from 5.5 to 8 in two to three hours. It was this way on both my grows. I have cleaned the shit out of my gear every week and it still doesnt help. My fan leaves dying quick. Today my meter shit out. So now i have no clue what the PH is. I am going to go with straight water for a week and try to get my meter replaced. If you or anyone has seen this before i would appreciate help also. Sorry i really dont know your problem but it sounds similar to mine but my temp is in a normal range.

Yea, I have a feeling it's not the temp that's doing it since my veg room is cool and the problem is happening there too. I wish I knew what was going on. I spent a lot of money getting this setup and having my plants die is not coo. Are you growing in soil also, and how was your last yield? Were you still able to get buds?

I found out what the problem was. It was a faulty PH meter! I got another one that was calibrated right and the water I was using in my plants was at 8.2! Now I know what was killing my plants. That's what I get for using a crappy PH meter. Lesson learned.

i did make it to buds. However i had to harvest early and only got about an ounce. Dont use me a guide i did my first grow as a learning experience. They smeeled good but was not the quality i was wanting. I also grew under flourecents. I had a shelf fall and shear off one the biggest branches during flowering. So i did all of this wrong and still did get buds. I waited till almost all of the leaves were dead and then harvested. It was about two weeks early. I have started a thread about my problem you can check it out. I dont know if it will help but we seem to have the same issue. My new pics are there also. I am using bag seeds. I want to get everything figured out before i take the risk of buying over seas. I still havnt figured out cloning. That is my biggest issue due to that is the only way to get more seeds without loosing yield. Had one clone root then die. Think i have it figured out but i already switched to flowering. Plant is about 4 feet now and almost in light. The other in my pics had 0 roots before i flowered and still has little. I dont expect much but anything is better than nothing. Not sure how to make link to my thread so i will send this and reply again with the link or whatever it is i need to send. Take a look may help.

Hey guys I was thinking checking the nutes, too much or too little? the airflow? temp should be round 70-84dg? definatley the ph adjustment ? watering? too much or too little. humid? co2? check those out post some more pics up when changing.
