First Grow COMMENTS APPRECIATED

Hello everyone I have been pretty active of RIU over the past 6-8 months learning and talking as i prepared for my first grow. I have started one before but due to heat problems failed. Anyways i have started a new! My friend sent me some seeds from his neighbor in portland whos been growing for 30+ years now. So my set up is as follows:

4ft by 2.5ft closet
2 Plants
2 42watt CFLs
3 23watt CFLs
Soil is homemade. Going to be transplanting into ground soil from here, earthworm castings and some "special things" she grows them in beautifully.
Smell is of no concern & heat is not a problem. staying around 75 degrees but i still run a bigger fan on them to add a little strength.

So i will post pictures of my babies below! This is day 16 do they look healthy? Good size? please feel free to comment of discuss. Im very active as Im on here everytime i light up! Look forward to hearing ya

Be sure to monitor your ph levels throughout ...... you can get a cheap meter on Amazon for less then $20 if you don't have one already.

So I transplanted them and they seem to have loved it. They didn't show any signs of stress just kept on going. I'll post pics later or in the morning

So i took some quick ones before my girlfriend and i head out to a school thing. ill post more later. they are taking off!

Plants look like they are more than ready for a bigger pot. While you are doing that buy a bag of perlite to mix with your soil. Make it 35-40 percent perlite for airy well draining soil. And slow down on watering now that your plants is bigger. I reccomend water then wait at least two full days until soils drys out good.

Thanks and I know they look like they need a bigger pot! I just transplanted them 4 days ago and it went from barely taking up any room in the pot to already taking the whole thing up! I'm super excited everyday because they just keep going! And I've been watering every other day since sprout. So that's already my schedule so perfect.

Any suggestions on when to flower? Tuesday will be the end of week three. I want to veg for another week? Would that be ok?

Just organic bonemeal and not much of it. I have to put in these seeds are from a lady whos been growing this strain for years. The genetics are great. But so far for veg I haven't used nutes really. For flower I'll be getting fox farm nutes

I would suggest you go with general organics for ur nutes. Dont get me wrong I have had awesome results with fox farm but there is much less room for error. Also u can get the general organics grow box comes with everything u need is totally veganic and only costs 37 or 38 bucks for the entire line. Fox farm is awesome but untill u are more experienced go with something that is more forgiving. just my opinion! Also transplant that girl and u will be amazed at the explosion of growth u will get. She looks ready for a 5 gallon pot. SHouldnt transplant a ton of times. Not saying u cant but u shouldnt! Good luck bro!

Plants seem to be growing well, have you considered FIMM'ing, topping or scrogging them for additional yield?

All three I'm just scared I guess. This is my first grow and I'm tentative to do anything to em lol but if I gt them explained a little bit better I might do one

Ok so day 24 of Veg! Girls got a lil nute burn but seem to be fighting through it pretty well and the growth has not stopped whatsoever. The first two are of one girl and the other to are of my other. I am a little stumped on where to go from here. i like the idea of having like 4-6 big buds on one and maybe keep one bushy. please help with this because i would like to get some ideas of what to do.
