wud up, this is really like my 3rd grow but my other 2 i couldnt get past the first week haha. anyway im growing it in my closet with 3 cfl bulbs atm(i got more bulbs and another y-splitter but got no room so w/e, i might buy a light bulb socket i can hang down on the back side of plant with a y splitter and 2x23w flowering cfls idk tho.)i have 1x42w(150w) 2700k softwhite cfl, and 2x23w(100w) 6500k daylight cfl. i will use 23w 2700k's for flowering.My light schedule is 12/12 from seed (inspired by pitbudz87 grow.) in 16oz cups, for a quick personal grow/learning grow. I water probually like every 3 days. I use this technique this guy on here told me to do for water. (i lift cup up and see how light it is or heavy it is to determine if i need to water or not.) +reps again to whoever that was. My soil is Gertens Profressional Grade soil. I think its organic soil to. i one fan in there i think its like 5' or like 9' maybe 12'.

My plants are 14 days old today, and 3' tall with the 4th set of real leaves getting bigger.(they may not look 3' in pic cuz i transplanted today and kinda burried stem more.) The seeds i used were from bag seed idk what kind cuz i just put all my seed in same bag it may be from some my dank seed or lesser shit.

Any advise/help will be good threw out the grow Thanks. Special Thanks to ludachris he been helping me for past few weeks.

Heres some pictures of my setup and my plants in they earlier days.First few pics is from my old setup and my plants 10-24 hours from being planted. last few when the plants are taller are is day6 from planted.

There 2 weeks old, this mourning i transplanted the 2 plants in the same cup, and put them in there own cups. I think i did ok with the transplant it was hard for me, we'll see in the next few days hope they ok.

idk 12/12 from seed only takes like a month and a half till its done and didnt want em to get tall on me got height restrictions 2 1/2 - 3 ft is like max for height unless i LST it. i might try LST on one plant but dont want to mess one up then other one gos male then id have nuthin.

i should be able to get a 1/8 or a 1/4 off one plant. check out this thread,( https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/191205-15-bagseed-grow-beer-pong.html ) this where i got the idea for 12/12 from seed in 16oz cups. he got 1/8-1/4 off 1 plant. but tell me what you think after you look at the thread if you still think i should veg for like 2 more week after 21days then i will.

it workes great for me and usually with no lst or topping anything just fish emulshin and seed extract i get a little over a half a plant and it takes a little over a month and a half man but i have a mother plant from the last harvest that has been revegged and is ready for clones, i plan on topping and lst and changing up some nutes

i will be using this miracle grow bloom booster 10-16-10 nutes for my plant idk if thats better then the fish emulshin and seed extract to get me better yeild then him but its all i got.

like i said 12/12 from seed is a waste of time as far as i am concerned.
i wont read the link you sent as i have heard it all before.
if you get more than a 1/4 oz per plant then you are doing well.
i dont fuck about growing plants for a 1/4 oz and if you read the thread i posted/started about a year ago you will see why its not a great thing to do.
and they wont be ready in 6 weeks.

i read it and under that i wont yeild much but idk his thread just made me want to do it. but your saying if i veg for 2 more weeks id get better yeild right? so im thinkin ill veg for 1 more week then i planed so thats 2 weeks from today. so that should be good right.

depends on plant development and size.
more nodes = more buds.

ight well we see where it at in 2 weeks and if it not satifactory then ill go another week before i flip the 23w out for some 2700k's dont matter to me. gives me more time to get money to buy the bulbs. im going to go to bed got 3 hour class sit threw 2marrow thanks for input. peace

You might be better off vegging another week

And if you are worried about it getting tall you can do things to prevent this

1 train your plant by tying it down with twist ties and drilling a couple hole around the rim of your container for tie down points

Or clip the top of the plant and it will stop growing up and split in 2 and start to bush
and grow up and out

Just an idea and try not too rush things

Growing takes time no need to rush

If you want something worth smoking and you are already putting up a big effort to get started which is great

Just try to get as much out of the plant as you can, do some reading on this forum, there are a bunch of great trick and techniques different people use

Find out what works for you and go with it

Thanks. Yea i knew bout LST and Topping, i am probually just going to start LSTing them when i see that they are growing again from being shocked with the transplant. Ill update pics next monday when they are 21 days old.bongsmilie

Okay been about 3 days since my transplant, still no new growth but besides that this mourning i woke up and checked on plants and saw some this crystal looking shit like on my soil where i cut my holes at. then in one of the holes i cut on my big sonic cup i seen a fucking slug. The little motherfucka must have got in my soil when i transplanted. sometimes ill have like 10 slugs on the outside of my soil bag and a few times i had like 2 of them in the soil bag that i just throw out. So when i go to transplant i take soil out by hand and kind of shake soil in there so i no that there is no slugs in it, but i guess i missed him because he was in there.

Now i have a few questions, i dont like them ugly looking things period let alone in my room in my closet where my gear at. i didnt see any signs of the slug crawling around like on my walls or anything cuz they'd leave slime. Question #1 is will slugs harm my plant? im pretty sure he was the only one but you no he was down like by where the roots would be at. Question #2 what can i do to make sure that there isnt another one down in my soil where my plants are(ive ask this question before on like bug forum but noone answered.) would watering with 1/2 water, 1/2 isopropyl rubbing alcohol work to like kill them down in my soil if they there or will it cause harm to my plant.

i killed the one slug i pulled him out that hole and poured the rubbing alcohol on it haha:twisted: was mean but tired of dealing with them ugly things.
