Ok so here we go haha. This is my first grow. After lurking on here for a month or two just reading up on the whole process I decided to take the plunge and grow my own. (paying $50 an 1/8 gets old on my budget). I went about the task of acquiring all the stuff I would need. I ordered seeds from attitude, however while waiting for them to come in (still waiting since the 14th of this month) I came across a seed in my bag of pretty decent bud. So I figured what the hell I'll plant it and if nothing else just practie for when the real thing gets here. ok heres the setup

Soil: Fox farm happy frog(read over the forums sounded like a decent seed to harvest soil)
Lights: 2 4ft 40 watt t12 6500 k bulbs in a walmart shoplight hood lol spent maybe $20 on this. Bulbs are Electrolux Eco something if I remember correctly. Also 2 26watt 6500 k cfls and 2 2700k 23 watt cfls.
for venting I just have a small fan in the corner blowing on em. This is in a closet in case anyone is wondering.
Nutes: when the time comes I have fox farms grow big and tiger bloom. Hopefully start nutes in about two weeks. Sorry about the pics they are from a cell phone, Will be updating cpl times a week and I will make sure to pry the camera from the evil claws of my significant other next time. Feel free to comment/ask questions in here, Im a newb and any help is appreciated.

BTW there are two plants I came across another seed from the same bag cpl days later and threw it in, shes working on her first fan leaves right now

Noticed we are looking a lil droopy today If thats not natural Im gonna venture a guess and say its over watering. However I found the perfect solution. Instead of being a stoner and trying to remember when I last watered/nutes etc, I have stuck a notebook close by to the grow area to record these things. watered yesterday gonna fight the urge and not water her till next fiday at least

Nice man! I use 2 of the 4ft'ers w/6cfls between them.im sub'd.i use calanders.note everything you do.water,nutes,tied down,moved lights,blahblahblah-u get the point.i note EVERYTHING.

the way i water is by the weight of the plant/pot.it will feel light also when its time to water,+top of soil drying.i stay on the dryer side;due to the fact i overwaterd my 1st grow.im not saying let ur plant dry out or anything!definatly dont let wilt from thirst.top 1" or so is dry water it.

Yah i'm thinking that maybe because my humidity is so low that it uses more water? I dont water unless I can stick my finger deep in that cup and its dry and that seems lik every 3-4 days. humidity on my thermo the highest I've seen is like 28% I havent really cared as long as she still going strong but i stuck a lil dish in there to evaporate hopefully that helps.

I water by sticking fingire in there, but usually i water every 2 to 3 days. Everytime i overwatered mine dropped, Looks good though man!

I went with the Northern Lights X Big Bud from Attitude. After reading on here that they are a "lower" odor strain and I live in an apartment so stealth is key. hoping I can get by with these two and just the ona bucket diy and an ionic breeze. Still waiting on seeds they were supposedly "dispatched" the 14th of this month. hoping they come in the next week but if not at least I got these ladies (hopefully) to play with until they can get em to me

awesome man! Theres a few good northern lights grows goin on rt.now,im sure u know.n.lights buds look tastey! Did u get feminised or regs?

Alright well its the first of the month so thought I would throw up some pics.. Looks alright to me but WTF do i know lol. wondering why the first set of leaves on the lil one are trying to touch the ground. My temps are anywhere from 72-80. humidity is only 29% wish I could get it higher no room in the budget right now. no nutes or anything else yet. last watered the 29th around noon. Excited, I talked the SO into switching rooms around and in a couple weeks I'll be setup in a decent size walk in closet..woot
