Is that a bad thing?
yeah you wanna keep your cfls close to the plant to avoid them from stretching.. nice and close to the plant makes dense compact buds and makes your plant more bushy then tall resulting in a lot more grow space and tighter nugs

Took out my light strips and the temps have definitely stabilized. 77H/73L @ 40%RH
So, I'm definitely staying with just the two 125w's now.

LST'd a few more

And topped one

The Ghost Chili is looking pretty rad

I raised the lights up a bit, a few of the plants were getting wicked close to the bulbs.

Pretty pumped on the plants and hope that all of this yellowing starts to go away. Going to look into it some more now, any ideas?

What kinda grow mix are you using? Are you using nutrents? Are you making sure your P.H. levels are good?...looks like your lakin nutrents.....I use "Mircle grow time relese soil.....so i never have to add extra nutrents..... I just make sure I got light and keep ph levels good

@Drampire: righteous, man! I've got jalapeños, habanero and hybrid hots growing outside too...I can't wait for these peppers haha

@Jesta: good idea with the soil. I'm using coco noir and using super thrive, ff grow big and guano for nutrients. And I've been keeping my ph right around 6 whenever I water or feed. Idk, maybe I should be throwing nutes in more often?

:leaf: Nice set up. I'm using a similar light setup...2 x 200w CFLs with 4 T5s in the corners of my closet. I had temp issues as well before I put an exhaust fan in. It does the trick with CFLs. As far as your leaves yellowing, from what I understand that's a nitrogen defficiency. Not sure about your mediums...I'm using FoxFarm Happy Frog soil currently...during my veg I didn't use any base nutrients, just ph'd my water to 6.2...the soil did the job...now that I'm in flower, I'm ph'ing my water to 6.4 and I've given them FoxFarms Big Bloom and FoxFarms Beastie Bloomz...in another week i'm going to switch from Beastie Bloomz to FoxFarms ChaChing. So far so good with my mediums, my plants are green as can be. As far as topping your plants, have you looked into FIM? I did it to my plants this grow and they loved it. It'll make your plants a lot bushier and give you more to LST.

True that. I'm trying to get the hang of it during this grow, if not then I'll probably switch to pre-nuted soil for the next. This bag seed grow is pretty much a trial and error run, so let's see haha.

Righteous, man! Just checked out your grow and it looks great! I really like the T5 strips in the corner, extra lumens and little to no space being occupied. About Fimming, I just checked out some info on it and I think I'm going to try it out on one of the plants and see how it grows in comparison to the regular topped one.

All of my larger plants are already showing sex, aside from the three short stacks. Mid way through a watering my roommate noticed pollen sacks on one and upon further inspection we found that 5 of the plants were males. I was too baked to remember to take a pic of the actual sacks, but I took some shots showing what we did to the males lol
:fire:

The five males

Took a blow torch to them lol

I've got the day off today so I'll be "Stealthifying" the grow a bit. More pics later on in the day :D

I think things are looking pretty good...they are all starting to fill in pretty nicely and the topped one is showing a lot of growth. Pretty pumped! The a couple of the LST'd ones are starting to fill in like crazy as well.

Over all , I think it's looking pretty good. I'm going next weekend to get myself an hps and I'm wondering when I should start flowering.

I got my hps setup the other day, I'm so stoked to start flowering one of these days. I'll post pictures of the setup later on today :bigjoint:

be careful with watering the leaves, if you do that in flowering, you WILL get mold. i believe you should be watering the soil/coco.
