Hi guys, this is my first post and also my first grow. I have germinated 3 bag seeds using the paper towel method described else where on the site :D Once they had all sprouted tap roots after 3 days i popped them all into the same pot that has a 1.5 litre capacity using bog standard seedling compost from the shop. They are currently under just one 20w CFL although I have a spare at hand! My plan is to put them all under 12/12 after they have reached their 3rd set of true leaves, kill any males and if their is more than one female (if any, fingers crossed!) she can go outside in my 'location' in the middle of april (I live in UK). I am aiming for a short bushy plant so will be FIMing when they reach their 3rd set of leaves and would be happy if a yeild a quarter to be fair! On Monday I have my online shopping list and budget all sorted and shall be purchasing off the basementlighting.com website; A 200w envirolight dual spectrum cfl and fitting, a 4" carbon filter, 4" inline fan and 1m of ducting, A 1m flexible silencer for the fan and enough mylar to line my box. Can anyone recomend any organic nutrients? My box is 27 inches tall, 18 inches wide and 12 inches deep. The seedling are currently 5 days old since they broke soil and all have their first set of true leaves, two started their second set of leaves this morning and they are currently about 3" tall. Will get pics on asap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I will get some pictures on asap. Thanks guys and girls!

The plan was to keep them small due to the size of my final grow box which is just a few inches over two foot tall, thats why I was going to put them into flower while they are still small, they are under 24/0 at the moment though as i was going to grow them a little more ;) As for the pot issue, was planning on only keeping one plant once I knew the gender and cutting the rest down! (I know its a waste but its my first grow but space for this grow is very limited and more of an experiment than anything) Would that still be an issuse or should I transplant pots asap? Thankyou for the feedback btw guys! sorry for my noobness (:

Yeah man seperate them now cuz by the time you know their sex it will be too late, you will have had 3 plants fighting for water and nutrients, and way under developed

You're more than welcome man, and I usually get the soil kinda moist/wet (not soaked) so it's easier to romove or keep what you need (dirt) and gently sift through it and try not to brake those tap roots, lil hairy ones are fair game..lol..no really try not to break anything in the process as this will cause less shock to the plant, a lil breakage of the small hairy roots is ok but they will 'weep' for a couple days after but will come back, good luck and happy growin'

got 3 pots, each approximately 1L, I chose the smaller pot size as I hope this will help to limit to size of the plant when she's finished! (dont want leaves pouring outa my little box!) Gunna begin the pot transplant now, wish me luck guys, I feel like a close friend is going into surgery! ;) Thanks for the advice, will let you know how I get along!

Ok, each of my 3 little babies has its own pot now :) I feel it went reasonable well as the roots had not intertwined and they came out reasonably ok! Expecting them to start weeping as RIKNSTEIN said but should get some more pics on later today!

Should I give them a good water or what? The soil is damp but not wet as of now. Thanks guys and girls!!

great news...play it by ear on the watering, it's easy to over water when they are in a big pot, so be gentle with the water

looking forward to more pics

looking good in their own pots.....how far away is your light, as your plants seem to be stretching a bit.....CFL's should be about an inch away

They are between 2" and 4" away from the light due to positioning in the box! considering adding a second 20w cfl until my big boy (200w dual spectrum envirolight) next week! Was however hoping to stick to just the one 20w cfl for the time being, bad idea?

Today the lil ones have showed absolutely no signs of drooping and have infact grown! Yaay :) Just starting to see the beggining growth that indicates leaf set number 3 is on its way! Very happy so far, In 48 hours this site has changed my grow from 'destined to fail' with 3 plants in one tiny pot! to 'Might be ok' with 3 healthy little seedling in their own little pots :D Cheers Rollitup community, will keep you guys updated throughout the grow with better quality pictures :O

G'Night guys!
